I was on a personal no buy challenge...but saw the thread about Skala at Big Lots. My BL only had 4 bottles of conditioner so I bought them all. I also bought 3 packs of 100 ct bobby pins for $0.50 each and some hair ties for $0.50.

I also found a bottle of Hairever Scalp Treatment. It had some good ingredients and was only $2.00 on clearance so I thought I'd try it.

I haven't bought anything yet Terri. I can't say it will stay that way though because I need to replenish my cap energy vitamins by the end of the month for sure. I can't be without these vits:nono:. I love them too much.

And FINALLY a satin cap! For years I wondered why my edges were always stuck at the same length :perplexed. I thought people were exaggerating :rolleyes: about the need for a satin cap and I liked the tight feeling of a cotton wrap. I should also add that instead of gently taking unwrapping the wrap(ha!) I'd usually just rip it off like a mad woman. Well one quiet morning I was quite horrified to hear the snapping/breaking of my hair as I yanked my wrap off :blush:. I had to go all the way to Cambridge to get this satin cap but it was worth it!

I tie down my edges with a piece of satin scarf (not a whole scarf, that would be too hot) then put on a satin bonnet over that. Everything stays put. And I'm a pretty wild sleeper.

But yes, for me when I use the bonnet alone it's always gone by morning.
 
Oh, and I'm buying some purple and or grey flexi rods today. I'd like to also get my hands on some Argan Oil Shampoo and conditioner. I hear people stock up on it by the case.
 
picked up some sample sizes of Miss jessies from a member here :yep:

ordered some Giovanni Intense leave in (since I bought the regular one this past weekend smh)

heading to the bss store this evening to pick up some hair accesories.. no telling what else I'll pick up smh
 
I am on a real tight budget so I got a vo5 extreme style heat defense conditioning spray and a Nu growth waves and textures stay in conditioner and detangler. Also got a cjeapie flat iron. (preparing for my first weave this weekend.)
 
today I purchased three small vials of fermodyl for moisturing (BOGO free at Sallys), coated tip hair pins, 2 packs of some kind of reconstructor to try out (silk elements or ORSor sumthin), 2 decorative hair bands to cover my bun and a mini soft bristle hair brush. all less than $20.

I am looking for my 20% sally coupon to purchase some ORS Replenishing paks
I think that is it for me!

I have a lot of stuff I am still using up so I am maintaining some will power, not much though, :D

It sucked arse for my relaxed hair,but it is doing so well for my natural hair:yep:
