Daily Habits Determine Your Growth
No worries! 200C is 382F, 190C is 374F - that's a good temperature to use
I'm glad that you know exactly what happened with the previous heat damage and is easily avoidable from repeating
"I hope my density is improving. I have unwanted layers. So I’m aiming for a full throughout."
It most likely is, especially now that you'll be massaging routinely. We didn't see how many days per week you're committing to massaging, how many days will you be massaging a week? The week resets on Sunday
I like layers, I'll admire your layers until you cut them away
My hair is about the same length all over my head so it will grow out in layers
"I understand why you don’t wash your braids. As soon as I wash these I look like I’ve been running on the playground all day lol. I wish I could allocate time to rebraid my whole head every 3-4 weeks."
I understand! Exactly why I don't wash mine
I like Knotless Braids neat and flat, I treat it like "silk pressed" hair. If I experiment with threading in the future, I might wash those because it would suite the hairstyle
How long does it take you to braid your hair? How many braids do you usually do? I'm likely to start with 48-54 braids when I do Knotless Braids in a few months. Since I take mines out within a short time, I don't want the take down to to be more than 3 hours, would be nice to be an 1 hour to 1.5 hour max
"After this style, I’m considering twists, with a little added hair, so I’ll need to redo my whole head."
Redoing twists should save a lot more time than doing braids, I hope you like them
"I probably read it somewhere but can’t recall, are your braids going to be with added hair, or fully homegrown?"
"Knotless Braids" uses added hair, it's called "Knotless" because there is no "knot" at the beginning of the braid like traditional extension braids. I think adding hair protects the ends. I think I will always add hair no matter how long my hair is. You have to make sure not to add too much hair and not products that will cause damage at the root
