Okay, so I posted this ingredients list the other day and I don't see the ingredient METHYLISOTHIAZOLINE anywhere. Did I miss something or is it also called something else? Perhaps since they have different formulations, maybe some have MIT and some don't? Don't let me call the FDA!!!

So which MNT is this? /images/graemlins/grin.gif

HA! I wish /images/graemlins/laugh.gif Thanks lady. I'm gonna drop by the store today and pick up the CO and the leave-in. I think I'll skip the shampoo. My preferences are Kenra and NTM.

Hey Army,

Mona checked this out- we're okay with the original shampoo b/c it doesn't have the bad ingredient in it. Just don't the Deep Moisturizing one!!!!

Thanks again Mona!!

Thanks Azul1 and Chocokitty! /images/graemlins/kiss.gif

I promise, I have not lost nearly as much hair since using this stuff. It has made my hair so strong!!! I had a relapse once and thought I needed a Nexxus fix for moisture and the hairs started shedding again! I know Nexxus products are good also, but I think my hair has gotten used to the MNT. As soon as I used it again, no more sheds!!!! I might be giving my Nexxus stuff away too! I guess Mrslee and I have the same type of hair /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hey Valerie /images/graemlins/wave.gif,
I am a 4a/b with relaxed hair

do you all get a lot of product build up with this?

Mrs. Lee beautiful hair. You've had amazing growth.

Thanks for the compliment!! I didnt get any build up from this time. I noticed that I am able to go longer in between washes. I usually wash my hair every 3 or 4 day. I washed my hair last Thurs and believe I could go another another 2 or 3 days without washing. But I am going to go ahead and wash it tonight and see what kind of results I get!!! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hey Honeyhips,

I don't get any build up with this product. If I do, it's not noticeable. Like Mrslee, I find that I can go longer b/w shampoos also.

u girls are the bomb! Thanks 2 this site, i am on the way to longer, healthy hair. I was using ORS products, but I am going to try the cond first. When I rum out of the ORS shampoo, then I'll try the shampoo. I'll let u girls know my progress. I don't have a cam yet, but I now have 2 inches of healthy hair on my head. Thank u SG for your multitude of tips!

I don't like yal anymore. I was trying not to buy anymore products, but sigh..... I gotta try this Mane & Tail conditioner. I've heard too much positive about it. I don't want yal to talk to me anymore. We're not friends. (until I finish the bottle of conditioner :) :) :) :))

Peer pressure sucks

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! LOL!

Unfortunately, I have decided to buy another product. The MnT conditioner. BUT, I will wait until after I finish my bottle of Humectress. You ladies have convinced me to try it. Really, this has got to be some kind of a sickness...

Well ladies, I am glad you are loving the straight arrow products. I have been using the Hoofmaker as the basis of my Cathy Howse conditioner. You can also buy the same thing in a different package for humans. But my hair loves it. It really does work. I think I have got my shampoo and conditioner tweaked and my hair is full of surprises. It looks so lush and healthy like a fine coat. Happy Hair growing. My hair loves protein. But I alternate two deep protein to one rinse and moisturize and a second deep moisturizer to make sure I do not o.d. on the conditioner.

I admit I went out and bought Mane'n'Tail a couple weeks ago after reading all the positive feedback. I recall using it back in high school(about 10 yrs ago), but I didn't remember what the results were like.
Well, I used the conditioner twice already for my rollersets and so far I am loving the results! I don't know why I ever stopped using this product but I am so glad the ladies on this board brought it back to my attention.

Did she just say....the Hoofmaker?

OK, Ladies! Can we start from the beginning? Which MNT products should I purchase for the results I've read about? I bought the Moisturizing Cond., about 3 mos ago, but I read on this board that someone's aunt told them it's nothing but liquid wax?

Let me know?

I have been using Mane 'n' tail shampoo and conditioner constantly now and I am very impressed, it is very good and my ends are really soft.

so do you guys use this as a conditioner wash or do you deep condition with it? Is it thick or runny? Smells good? Bad? Go ahead and answer Southerngirl. You already got my attention so go on ahead and lure me in for the kill.

I use the conditioner as a leave in for my relaxed hair and as a reg conditioner and rinse on my daughters natural hair.

It is somewhat thick and the smell isnt bothersome to me at all. IMO GPB smells worse than this! LOL!

I use it as a deep conditioner (the original). I will now be implementing this as a combo ingredient with AO GPB or UBH Conditioner as my protein 1-2 punch treatment every other week.

thanks ms lee. i see you've done Southerngirl's dirty work for her lol. Well i'm sold!!! I'm buying it ASAP! I'll let you know if it's a keeper

CARE.PDF#search='the%20Hoof%20Maker%20Straight%20Arrow%20for%20humans%20and%20animals'. Yes Mahalialee said "HoofMaker. I hope it was okay to refer to that site. It is made animals and humans. Scroll down the page on that site and you will see a picture of the exact one I use. I pay 13.ooC for the big ole container with the pump and I but it a a pharmacy that sells to humans and horses. Hope this helps. It is the best protein conditioner I have ever bought and I plan to stick with it. It is the one called STRAIGHT ARROW HOOFMAKER!
Bonjour.

Hi Southerngirl, I noticed that you use LeKair Cholesteral in your routine I am thinking of using this bi-weekly and would like to know if you follow with a moisturizing conditioner???

And in she comes, lasso in hand :)

I use it as a leave-in conditioner and it works great. There are users that use it as a deep conditioner and/or conditioner wash. I have not tried either, but I'm sure it's effective.

Try it first as a leave-in co. and see if you like the results. If you look at some of the earlier posts and my journal, you'll get some ideas.

Glad you're jumping on the bandwagon :)
