Man shall not live past 120?

What did God mean

And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. (Genesis 6:3)

I'm curious. Do you think God was refering to the age of man not living past 120? After Moses, you don't read of anyone else living past 120... or did God mean the amount of time He was giving man until he sent the flood? I'm going to ask my bible school teacher, but I'd just love to hear your answers/thoughts as well. Thanks!

He was talking about the amount of time until he sent the flood. Although it is rare, there have been a couple of people in the last century or so who have lived past 120. If the Bible was speaking of lifespan it would be wrong and from what I know the Bible does not have errors.
