make protein treatment more effective???

are there any special steps you girls take before/during/after doing a protein treatment? the last time i used Aphogee Two Step, my hair felt...really strecthy..is that normal? my hair just isnt as strong as it used to be erplexed

if this helps: for weekly dc, i alternate between Nexxus humectress one week and HE Break's Over, or Garnier Fructis Length and Strength the next

Stretchy after Aphogee 2-step? Girl, I think you've got us stumped on this one. Are you using the aphogee balancing moisturizer after or something else? Can you give us the step by step on how you used it? How was your hair before you used the 2-step?
