Maintaining a Braid out?

How do you ladies maintain your braid out overnight?

Lol I rebraid. My hair isn't long enough to pineapple and even then idk how effective that is. So I braid it again. I hate the extra manipulation and ssk's but it's a trillion times better than going back to the Dominican salon every two weeks. Do you get tangles?

Fortunately the only thing I have to do is put my satin bonnet on and it will last for 3 days, on the end of the 3rd day I re-braid over night.

I use oil (olive or cocunut, etc.) and place a baggy and a bonnet over my head. The bonnet is to make me feel less jeri curl-like.
