Now that spring is here I definitely love my braid out style. I have been washing it about 2 times a week and then putting it into about 3 or 4 plaits overnight. My new growth is out of control so this is how i am maintaining my hair until I get another relaxer maybe next month. My question though is will braid outs help to grown out your hair as a low manipulating style.

I think so. When I was relaxed, I wore braidouts 99% of the time. However, I almost always pinned the back of my hair due to my length. I don't think the actual braidout will be an issue, i think wearing it down too often might be an issue.

What are u using to secure ur braids? I used ouch-less rubber bands.
