Apparently she only uses KeraCare:eek:
If that's the case I'm about to switch over cause her hair is da freakin BOMB!!!

Macherie you already know how I feel about your hair when I shouted you out before. It keeps getting better and better.:D

Yes, she and her hair are beautiful...she looks like a model you'd find in Essence Magazine...Keep up the good work.

WOW You guys have NO idea how much this means to me. Me and my hair have been duking it out for months. I was determined to bring it to life and would not take no for an answer.

(I also was having the worst day! I woke up late, boss on my case, didnt get into my first choice for B school AND I spent hours on my hair last nite only to wake up to dry puffy hair!!!! I tried ORS replenishing pak- I hate when a RAVE doesnt work with for me :()

When I started this jouney, I had dry, brittle hair that barely grew to my shoulders and just stopped. I went to the salon every week and slapped perm on my hair every 4 to 6 weeks :( I have terrible dandruff and itchy scalp and my hair shed every where and my ends were always split. I had no idea what a deep conditioner was and curled my hair every day!!!!

I started getting into my hair when I went to college in Boston and went to a salon called Olives. They roller set my hair for the first time but most importantly, they educated me little by little on the essentials. But it was when I found LHCF and started interacting with you guys that I really started to see changes. I learned about the importance of conditioning, protein, dusting, little manipulation hair styles. I learned soooo much from relaxed, texturized and natural heads and incorporated so much of what I learned into my regime.

My regime is soo simple. I doooo use Keracare:) I love it soo much. It did take a while to kick in. I started to see results after the 3rd or 4th months but since ive been using it, my hair never breaks or tangles. It shines for the firts time EVER and I get split ends after months. I have to beg the stylist to cut at least something. I do need to incorporate protein into my regime becase my hair is currently over moisturized from Humecto and is mushy when wet. Its grown past bra length and has gotten thicker over the past month. I try other stuff but I always come back

I dont kow if this helps but I also take a hair vitamin and a multi. Oh and I only eat organic foods, drink 64 oz of water and exercise 3 times a week. Not sure if this makes a difference but, hey cant hurt!

Ok, Im babbling and my bf is like GET OFF MY COMP, lol. But my whole regime is in my fotki under the about me sections. Please PM if you have questions, suggestions or just wanna chit chat. I love suggestions. Again, I couldnt have made so much progress had I not stalked all of your albums!!!

I'm sure that helps. I read an article in The Observer where they interviewed some French women living in England. The women were discussing the differences between food in France (not a whole lot of sugary/salty/fried/processed food) and the food in England. One of the women mentioned that women in England have hair that's "in bad condition" and she felt that it was due to the food there. Some of the women mentioned that in France they drink water with their meals, which so many people here don't do.

I really think it helps that you're not eating food with ingredients like high fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated vegetable oil, and other food that sounds like a science project.

Macherieamour, girl, you know you're the bomb. You and your hair are absolutely gorgerous. It makes me so proud when I see all the beautiful hair that we have...and more importantly -- we can grow our hair short or long -- we have options...

I hope your day got better when you saw this thead. Your hair is absolutely beautiful (you too!) and you have a lot of fans here!

LOL @ your bf. This is more important!
