But I have concerns.

I use the long large scarfs and I use 4 (sometimes five I have alot of hair and three wasn't cutting it). And I noticed that the weight of the scarf can make my head/scalp hurt. I love the look and I don't have to use heat to get waves but has anyone seen an side effects from using this repeatedly? I think I could use shorted scarfs which may help but honestly not too much shorter ot I couldn't tie the ends.

I haven't seen any side effects on others but I would definitely ask Tickin4Gold...

What is the difference in the look if braid outs are done w/ and w/o a scarf? I never could figure out the point of the scarf? :(

@pre_medicalrulz, I don't see the difference either. Probably just "something different" and the braids do look pretty with the scarf interwoven in there. It's like the three-strand twists; IMO it's more work than it's worth and doesn't do anything special IMO that the two-strand twists doesn't do. *shrug*

The scarf is supposed to keep the waves from getting smaller on the ends. Like a more uniform wave
