As highly curled curlies, our roots tend to pose a MAJOR problem when it comes to straightening our hair.

But not anymore! Look what i found

So yea i bought it and i am waiting for it to get here .

My birthday is this Friday. I will be making 22 so my s/o is buying me a hair steamer!!!!! I AM SO EXCITED! N my aunts are buying me a MAXIGLIDE MP!!

Ya know its a problem when you start to ask for hair stuff for your birthday ..

Anyway, i just thought i would share this with you guys just in case you had the same problem as i do when it comes to straightening your roots.

I really forgot to do the review. My bad. Well needless to say that my roots came out wonderful! It gets so close to the roots yet you can't even feel the heat, you feel nothing. I sprayed my heat protectant on before i used it though and my roots where straight for days. I highly recommended i!

Sorry i didn't take any pics but i will next time! I promise!

I have a similar tool from babyliss. It worked well. You have to remember it's a root straightener not a flat iron so don't expect it to work like one. Once I got over those high expectations I was able to see that it's a great tool.

i saw one of these on folica.com....wonder if my maxiglide can get my roots straight whenever i decide to straighten....seems like a good idea i may have to get one if it doesnt burn your scalp...i had a few close calls back in the day with a flat iron or two. LOL

The barrel touches your hair and the teeth but you don't feel any of the heat unless u try and make it linger there ...lol

If any you ladies are looking for an even cheaper alternative, Sally's sells a root iron by Jilbere that works great. I bought one this weekend. Even before buying it the sales associate told me that a lot of people rave about it. It's only ten dollars cheaper but every dollar counts! I was gonna buy the root control until I came across this one. You can't find it in stores and on top of that you have to wait for it to ship to your door...My new growth did not have the time or patience for that all
