LOL I thought my date was weave checking me!

My husband is mexican, in his family all straight hair (is hard to fin afro hair in this side of the country) since i became natural he really loves to pull and boing my curls. Is because is different hair and they love it :)

Yes!!!! I have experienced this B4.... I dated a latin man and he constantly put his fingers in my hair....I liked it lol

Men of other races do not have the same taboos about touching hair as black men....its just a cultural difference...they werent raised to think that touching hair is a no no!

My SO is white and I have learned to keep my hair in a bun during those "special moments " after one incident where I was air drying and I heard the ripping :nono: when he got carried away with the pulling :wallbash:. If that moment wasn't so "special" I was would have :freakout:!!!

great story, my DH is black and of course he use to be scared to touch it. I told him he could and one day dude went to town, I had to tell him not that darn hard! Bout to rip my scalp off. He loves to touch it especially when I grab the mic... :giggle:

Hope ya'll can get things back on track after this OP. :eyebrows2

That made me  cute story.

I'm so used to it I barely notice...I like a passionate tug during a makeout session....it means we're really getting into it....its all me so why not let him bask in the glory! lol for me, men of all races like to dive their hands into my hair on the regular....probably because they see me run my hands thru my hair all the time they wanna join in on the fun. to me it comes along with reckless abandon.

This story made my day. To answer the question....yes I would let (ahem, do let) my DH pull my hair, but not enough for it to hurt afterward :spank:

I think being with a man of another race is sounding sexy. If your with a BM and he is used to BF then it's nothing spectacular. BUT to a man of another race he's not used to you, your different and sexy and exciting. ya'll got me wanting to go back to NYC. They have some beautiful male and females of all ethnicities.

Whimsy how many times are you gonna run away in shame lol. Be proud girl, It's a beautiful thing being intimate with the ones we love. and sometimes even the ones we don't

This is probably TMI... but I enjoy getting my hair pulled that way.... not hard but a little tug with his hands all deep into my hair. Its sexy!

I don't think he was weave checking you... I think he was just having fun ;)

I think I fell in love over my guy doing that to me, and telling me how much he loved my hair at the same time. SWOON! He can play in my hair any day!

I've never expierenced this, but I have heard that in some cultures hair pulling is considered a turn-on, and is part of the 'sexual dance'. That could be why its exciting for some men to see women with long hair; they envision themselves running their fingers thru it. I'm with you , I don't think I would like it either...

Haha. Sounds like he's a lil freaky, Nothing wrong with that.

I don't say either way because I'm so used to not having my hair touched that now that it can be touched, I don't mind. Although I would muchg rather them run their hand up through the back and just lightly tug then being all rough. If I think it's causing breakage then I'ma say something.

LOL you made me blush lol "lil freaky!" LOL!

And yeah, I Was worried about breakage too. Make sure I do a protein treatment before the next date!

i'm seriously laughing out loud. This is beautiful. thanks OP

truth be told, that's why i'm so excited about having healthy hair...i like a puller :look:...but don't always have that confidence in my hair/braids/weave/wig to let it happen. I'm tired of wondering what he's thinking, cause i know he wants to pull but can't

That doesn't surprise me, him being from New Orleans. I had no idea black folks were so obsessed over the gradient of mixedness a person had (is that a word :lachen:) until I went there.

Anyhoo, the only man who was interested in my new growth was a Puerto Rican dude who could NOT keep his hands from rubbing all over my scalp when I was due for a touch-up. Once I had those straight roots he wouldn't touch my hair at all :ohwell: he wanted to feel the curls :yep:

My husband is Black and he pulls my hair, I don't pretty much like it. First off I am tender headed and that hurts, plus I could be looking north and by the time he jerks my hair I am looking South east! Now biting is another story :D

Girl I could tell then that he was very serious about something that wouldn't matter and I sort of lost interest. He was very looks focused. And much to regimented. :nono: I don't like being stressed.
