Lil Sis BC Update - 1 Year Later (Pics Inside)

Hey Guys,
My lil sis BC'd last July and here's her progress. She didn't get a trim or corrective cut until this past Thursday (Aug 26th). She doesn't have a regimen...i kept her in weaves until this past Summer. She now co-washes almost daily. She's also having trouble with getting her curls to pop so she never wears her hair out....just buns. Her must have products are hairspray, ecostyler, water, a good brush and her silk scarf! lol

how often does she use hairspray. I would figure that wouldn't be good for the hair to use on a regular basis. As far as curls popping, although I've never used it, I've heard many ladies rave about ecostyling gel. I think it is good for hold too, in lieu of the hairspray.

But then again, her looks really nice and healthy so far, so many nothing really needs tweaking at all.

the color was trial and error...lol
i put the SoftSheen Carson Hi Rez #044 Volcano Blaze in her hair first but washed it out too soon

then we ran to our local Rite Aid...and they didnt have the color we needed so i ended up buying Natural Instincts: Rich Medium Auburn/Raspberry Crème

she uses Garnier Fructis Style Ultra Strong Anti-Humidity Hairspray

but she co-washes almost daily
