Whoopie!!!

Oh my goodness, I'm a star-ah! :)
Even though I'm aiming to grow my *natural* hair longer.

Cool--any publicity is good publicity (and worth more if the publicity is free)--and I happen to be a member of all three sites! :p

Hmmmm, but as usual, a reporter leaves something out--I agree with her assessments of both NP.com and NC.com, but I'm a little disappointed that she didn't state that LCHF.com is for both natural and relaxed women interested in growing long hair--giving that a big percentage of the LHCF membership are naturals or transitioning, that fact deserves a mention--LHCF is for all women interested in growing long and healthy hair. :)

All right! My cousin writes for the business section of the Boston Globe, I'm gonna give him a call about this!

I'm with Cheleigh, our forum is for Women of COLOR who wish to grow their hair long, natural...relaxed or transitioning...

I don't belong to nc...hmmm....finally I know what NC stands for ....

Awwww shoot. My secret is out lol

There could have been a better write up about lhcf. Hardly anything was stated about us.

ITA, they left alot of info, especially since LHCF is for naturl or relaxed, I know I'm glad that I didn't join NP.com, from her statement they would probably tear me to shredds for being relaxed, LOL.

Cool. Now I know what NC is too- I didn't realize that site had a forum. This site is cool because it welcomes everyone regardless of hairstyle. I like np but I do feel like I'm not natural enough to be down sometimes- not everyone on there is like that.

This is so off base.... Nowhere on napturality does it say you cant wear your hair straight OR that you canr wear extentions. And as for this site you can be relaxed, natural, texturized, and darn near anything and still find helpful stuff on here. I dont like the article. Whoever wrot eit needs to do a better job researching.... :nono:

What you said is crazy gurl! LOL I couldn't help but laugh. Not natural enough??? What....you gotta wash your hair with berries or something to be down? I understand what your saying though. They are a little well....nevah mind!

There's a variety of natural textures on NP. Don't be weary be cause of just a few people or threads. There are a lot of 3-c/b members over there with lovely hair who are addicted to the site. As long as it's natural and you're pround of it, I'm sure it's "enough" . :)

Me too!!! :ohwell:

But honestly, when browsing the site my initial thought would be the same as the articles.

I didn't know there were so many naturals and transitioners here until I saw the numbers in a poll.
