LHCF Advert in Hair magazine. Wow never thought i'd see the day

As a lazy collector of black hair magazines, i bought sophisticate's black hair.( hey its 80p in the market)
Whilst flicking through i came to an advert for Glovers blends products( not sure what these are) and there was a pretty black woman (Karen Golston)with a blurb about being the author of "Awesome hair a guide to growing black hair long" I assumed that she is a cathy Howse type lady.
At the bottom left hand corner it says "for tips for growing and maintaining your long hair, check out-
www.longhaicareforum.com and then a picture of the banner.

I've never seen this before but then i don't buy every issue.

Hmm, I'm interested in hearing what the other ladies will have to say about this lol. I for one am happy that the news is getting around about healthier hare care practices. Shoot, had the news not reached me, I would still be at neck length.

I don't think it's an "I want to keep this all to myself" mentality. Really ugly things happen when unnecessary *extras* and the *drama* that they bring come to this website. I mean UGLY things.

Many people who don't want to really advertise the site know of, or have seen what can happen when the trolls and such come.

I think what makes LHCF different is that there is a subscription of $6...so the 'crazies' stay to lurkingg..and the ones that pay are more genuinely intrested in hair care.

But I think advertising is cool. Just don't go overboard. While I want others to know about this site, I'm a firm believer in research. I guess it's the grad student in me but there are some things you should have to search for to find.

We'll see. And it does look like the site is associated with the product. I've never heard of Glover's in all my life. We'll see.
