Twist-outs were my absolute fav style when I was natural a few years back, but at that time I think I'd transitioned for about a year. This time, I'm considering taking the plunge must sooner, maybe in about half that time (It's been a little over 4 months since my last relaxer) and I'd like to see if a lil' twist-out can be done on a twa. I know it CAN because I've heard from a couple of you ladies, but I'd love to see pics (or directions to your fotki) for others if possible. I didn't get alot of results when I tried to search this so hopefully we'll get some feedback here. :)

Even if you don't have pics, I'd still love to hear at what length (around how many inches or how many months natural) you were able to get some cute little twists in your hair. :)

well I usually use some product, not necessarily a gell - ie: shea butter, cantu leave in

also depending on ur curl pattern/hair type etc, length or if ur ends are very blunt ur twists may have a tendency to unravel u may need to twirl the ends around ur finger - like u were doing a finger coil - to kinda set the ends

here are mine...i did a twist out just for this thread! i did a light blow out, and used coconut oil, and ORS loc n twist gel:)

I always have to use product. I use ORS lock n twist gel after I moisturize and seal.
