Sensationnel Best Prices/most affordable out of the three
Black Diamond
SAGA

Can you please RATE the LONGIVITY of the hair:

Sensationnel Holds up great for at least the initial install
Black Diamond not very familiar with this wavy only used it once
SAGA Nice hair very soft texture very beweavable

Can you please RATE the best price for quality:

Sensationnel
Black Diamond
SAGA IMO out of the three I think the saga is the best wavy brand, it doesn't matt and tangle and you should be able to use it at least once more. This would probably your best bet because you get the most for your money.

This is just my opinion and I am going from install experience. I just want to add that anything can happen and you wind up hating the brand I recommend so do hold me to it. LOL

Thanks alot! I wash my hair often due to working out which is why I would like to try the wet and wavy styles. How often do you think I can wash the hair before it starts "actin' up" and how long can I REALLY keep it? If I'm spending 100 for one pack, I'm sure I would want it to last forever:rolleyes:

i haven't used too many brands but the one in my avatar is beverly johnson...i was skeptical but it came out really well. it was pretty inexpensive in comparison too...

I use Outre after a recommendation from my "Weave Expert" friend...I was going to get Remy, but she adviced me to get Outre as it doesn't have the same level of fake shine!

I work out 6 days a week, and wash my hair every day, and it still looks good 3 weeks later. I have a full sew in, and I DC daily, and then roller set it to get it back to perfection!!

It is a whole lot lighter than it initially was, and I get compliments on 'How healthy my hair is!!'

My friend only washes hers once a week...but she's a skinny girl, and barely ever walks!

GREAT thread! I want to try Saga and Outre for a full head weave install. Hopefully, I will have enough length for one in August.

Go to BHM.... Most of those are BSS brands of Remy hair which is still processed to some degree. It also may be Chinese Remy and not Indian. I know the Sensationnel Goddess Remi is Chinese Remy for sure.

Also, Black Diamond is not Remy. I believe they are made by Bohyme which is, but the BD is not. I've used the Sensationnel Goddess Remy before with no problem and was able to reuse it 3 times but it is still not going to be as great of a quality as pure unprocessed virgin hair. It's not going to last as long as EP, or Nature Girl or some of those high end brands that will last as long as you take care of it. They're all better than regular bss hair though. It depends on what you're looking for.

My sister is trying Velvet Remy, and loves it!!! I LOVE it too. It looks so natural and sleek. She says it is the best she has ever gotten, and she 'pays' for her hair!:lachen:I have to say it really looks good. I have Remy Goddess, I am not to impressed. I have tried Black Diamond before this, and I liked BD better.

BHM Weave Board defect right here (2 yrs addicted to that board and weaves, lol).:lachen::grin:

A lot of people really like the Sensational line... I've never tried it, but I have however used Outre Velvet Remy and I LOVE THIS HAIR. For a full sewn in it's very nice, never tangles, hardly sheds (I always sealed the weft with some fray block so that shedding was greatly reduced) and blends well with relaxed hair.

I'm currently sporting 2 tracks at my nape right now, and the store didn't have the color I needed for the Outre, so I settled for the Saga brand... I can say that I actually really like it. It blends well and has been great. It sheds just a little, but not a lot at all. I noticed it tangles a little when I curl it, but not terribly at all. I curl it with my caruso rollers and it's amazing. In my recent fotki album (April-June 2008 folder) I have what the saga hair looks like. If you go to my weaves folder I have some pics of the Outre hair. I even put a curly perm in Outre hair before installing it to make it more like a body wave (this was BEFORE they started making it in body wave, lol). A lot of the BHM gals do that to Remy hair, it comes out great.

But if you REALLY want great quality hair that can be used for more than one install, never tangles, never sheds, looks AMAZINGLY real and works like a dream... Order Wagman's hair and Extensions Plus (my sister swears by EP and Nature Girl). I LOOOOVE Wagman's and I will be in fact ordering it for my next install of tracks for my nape. These brands really top any BSS hair.

Yeah my sister said the Outre Velvet remy was good!

Thanks for the recomendation!

ok this might be a silly question but what is remy hair and why is it so expensive? i see it at the bss and it looks very nice but i just cant justify the cost.

Remy hair usually comes from one donor with all the curticles(sp) aligned hence the decrease tangling and matting.

I've tried Black Diamond. Neva again. It shedded like a dog. If one does try BD, please seal the wefts.

I second the Wagmans, I have had my hair for over a year!

Hi,
I see your interested in Remy hair. I wore indian kinky curly for 2 years and I absolutely loved it. the hair laster for at least 6 months. I don't know the brands but if you google Couture Hair Designs it should come up. Everyone thought it was my real hair and you can wear it curly, straighten, then go back to curly. I loved the versatility. I would check them out. it also allowed me to start my hair growth because I didn't have to re-do my weave so much because of bad hair and now I'm FROM SL to past APL. You'll be completely satisfied. its a super good investment. HTH :)

I order my remy hair from this website: www.joyastylehair.com
I dont know how much you are wanting to spend but her hair is the best quality I have found and it smells great. This hair barely sheds at all. I used it three times, kept it in for months at a time and it still looked good. The only reason it got thrown out was because my idiotic sister doesnt know anything about weave and threw it in the trash. I could've slapped her:nuts::clubu:. I always get my hair from them in 7 days or less and they have specials throughout the year on hair. Also, the customer service is great. I'll attach a pic of me wearing the weave.

I order mine from rkproducts

My favorite remy hair is from senghorishells.com.I am 12 wks post and it still blends with my hair.I get a few tracks sewn in for length and thickness. It is a great match for aa relaxed hair.I tried bd before and it shed like crazy but it was still ok.It didn't tangle as much.I didn't mix my hair with it,it was a few sew in with a closure.I agree bhm website is the best to find info on weaves.

I've never tried the brands in your poll but I just installed some hair I bought from lugo's and I swear to u I'm never going back to pack hair! I spent $145 for 6 oz in relaxed straight. This hair never tangles...there's no shedding and it looks real as heck! if ur interested in getting good quality hair but don't live in the nyc area u can check out their site at Lugoshair.com. If u want to see pics of my sewn in PM me. ;-)
