How many naturals or relaxed heads leave conditioner in over nite ? Have you reaped any benefits from doing this ? What are the benefits that you have reaped from this practice ? Have you continued this practice ? How long have you been doing this ?

Since I live in figid Chicago, I have to deal the so many different temperatures ( Temp outside, in the building I work, home..) and dealing with my curly dry 4A hair is somethin' to see. I have been leaving conditioner's on over nite since november. My hair appears to be a little dense but I am unable to see the differece right now. I am six months into transitioning from the press and curl and I am very anxious to see the difference in my hair at the once year mark.

Any and all comments are important.....

I don't leave conditioner on overnight because for me it leads to overconditioning which equals breakage.

I've left conditioner on my hair overnight several times (haven't done so in a long time). However, conditioners work best on my hair when left on for 3 to 5 minutes.

i have and i noticed my hair was really dry/strawlike. 15-20 minutes without heat is best for me

I do this alot but I have really dry hair. I dont think I can every over consition my hair b/c of how it is. I also live in a cold humid climid. If you have very dry hair then I say GO FOR IT. To see if it works for you.

I do it at least once a week. I think my hair is at its best when I leave conditioner in it overnight.

I've never received any good benefits from leaving anything on my hair overnight (hot oil treatments, conditioners). My hair always turns out either normal or dry. 3 minutes or 20-30 minutes for deep conditioners work best.

My hair air dries straighter and shinier when I leave in all the L'Anza strait line conditioner that I used to deep condition. It stays in there for a week until I wash and deep condition again. No harm done.

I never leave my hair soaked in conditioner overnight...but I put moisturizing sprays in my hair overnight...but never soaking wet.

Typically, I condition for about 5 minutes unless I'm doing a deep condition which I will do for maybe 30 minutes with or without heat.

I do it. My hair is more manageable when I do it. Ive been doing it for about 1 year now. I do it every 2 to 3 days. It helps with my new growth making it easier to comb through, because I only relax my hair twice a year.

I've never left condtioner in overnight. The longest I've left conditioner in my hair was about 2 hours. 20-30 minutes with a plastic cap on and no heat works best for me.

I've done it a few times before, and I wasn't happy with the way my hair turned out. Each time, I ended up having to put in another conditioner and leave it in for just a few minutes in order to have slip.

I won't be doing it anymore. Ever.
