Its become habit to use a leave in after washing my hair
. Before LHCF I never used one, but I know this is one of the reasons my hair is now thriving...The two in heavy rotation are Lacio Lacio and Nexxus Headress.

I'm not trying to be rude or self-promotional, but there is a reason why I have a blog. I kind of get tired answering the same questions over and over, and so do a lot of the older members, which is why they no longer frequent this section. I know the search isn't working well, so I understand, but we have these blogs for a reason. Its not just about my hair growth but about hair in general. Please try to read it before you post these questions on the board because most of the subjects everyone posts about, I have answered on the blog and it would save you time instead of having to wait for responses or getting upset when you don't get a answer. Just a little advice, everyone. I do a lot of research about hair and I post what I learn here. I have a lot of help for it so the information is true.

Wow... If it makes you feel better, I didn't directly ask you.
I got plenty of answers and did not complain about waiting, and I think it was rude to be so condescending toward me-- the board is for asking questions, I didn't have you in mind when I asked so I did not seek your blog out. The idea of asking questions is to get more than one POV. I don't think it would have helped to only ask you, because I would have only got your opinion. IMO If you were so tired of answering you dind't have to come in here.
ETA: Your blog didn't even answer my question. I know what a conditioner is, and I know what a leave-in is. I just wanted to know if there were folks out here who did not use the latter and if they had the same results as I had. Can we make threads without people coming in here acting like we aren't allowed to post anything?
Whoa. I have been here longer and I am going to have to disagree. Some of us don't mind helping others even if it is repeat info. Even if it is nothing more than bumping up a previous thread or posting a link to it.
We all came here for the same (or similar) reasons in the beginning so I really don't mind and enjoy taking a little extra time out to answer questions.
Sorry but I think your post is kinda rude and insensitive and very much against the mood I THOUGHT he tried to keep on the forum.
When the hell did I complain? I'm just saying... Many of us don't feel like reposting the same opinions over and over. The board is flooded with the same questions over and over, but I do understand that the search feature isn't working. Thats why I am saying, before you post, try looking into the blog links in others siggy because some people have the info you are looking for there. My opinion on the leave-ins is in the blog. No one said you weren't allowed to post anything, I'm just giving you a disclaimer. Many of the older members are not posting in the hair board anymore because they've their routines set in stone and/or don't feel like being repetitive.... so you might get the same opinions over and over again.
Look, I'm not combative and I'll let you fight by yourself. I'm just giving you a heads up. However you read what I wrote in your head is for you to deal with...![]()

I am tired of people trying to regulate threads when they didn't even have to read/respond to them in the first place. I don't like seing MN or MTG or Oil Rinsing in the title of 300 posts, but a lot of them are really asking different questions. I don't see ANY post asking the same exact question as me or getting the same answers. No one wants to read about something in a 300 page thread just because someone doesn't want anyone asking anymore questions about it.![]()

We have journals, blogs, fotkis, any different resources so that if you don't get your answers, you can utilize them when the search feature isn't working. Those are not just for to chart our growths, but to help new people out with their questions. Thats all I'm saying. Many of the people who had the best advice are no longer here, or don't post in this section anymore... so try reading their journals. I'm just helping folks out. I'm not saying it to be snobby, I'm just giving you advice to help you find your answers when the search feature isn't working. And I didn't say that I am complaining, but I've notice people making comments about the board being "clique-y" or asking why their threads being overlooked. Its not that we only give certain people attention, its just sometimes that question has already been asked[FONT=verdana, geneva, lucida,'lucida grande',arial,helvetica,sans-serif] and we don't feel like answering it again. We had a discussion about this not too long ago.

Geez... Stop saying WE because it really is just you. As in nobody asked you. As in nobody needed anything from you. So get off the pedestal and stop acting like I desperately needed advice from specifically you.
But since you want to hide behind "we," I didn't ask you all, whoever you all are. Stop acting like there is some group of women who have this perfect hair that I should be so privileged to be able to consult for advice. It is just hair. I can ask whoever I want, and however I want. If you have a problem with me starting a thread, complain to the moderators and tell them I have started one too many threads on leave-in conditioners, since it is that crucial to you. I have a fotki. I have other resources. I have seen other blogs. Southern Tease has a blog. Macherieramour has a blog. I have read them, theyre nice and helpful. But to act like I should automatically consult them when I have a question.. don't you think you're trying to monopolize something that doesnt and shouldn't concern you? Puh-LEASE!
Don't be mad, but "bravenewgirl87" did not come to mind when I had a hair issue, and neither did your blog. Neither did all these other blogs or members you spoke of. I thought of some members, I thought of some fotkis, but one of the first things that came in mind after scanning the board was to come up with a thread because I wanted multiple opinions. Don't take it to heart that there are folks on this board aren't dying to go to your blog, because to be 100% honest with you, I haven't really found it that helpful, so I never really was compelled to go visit it again.
And I can't possibly consider you that much older of a member (as if you have some major sense of seniority or authority...) since you only joined like 8 months before me. Here I am thinking older members as in been here since 2002 or people who started the site and you havent even been here but a little over year yourself
ETA I am not trashing the site, I love a lot of womens' hair and advice on here, but don't act like there is a group of girls I should only go to for help if I need it. And if that were the case you would not be one of them, mostly based on your attitude.
I did not know anything about leave-in con's until I came to this board. When I read about them I thought they were necessary. I does make me feel more secure though.
Slightly OT: Even when a thread is posted that may have been discussed before, could it possibly be beneficial due to the fact that new techniques have evolved, new products are on the market, or new opinions and people are around that weren't before? Revisitation isn't always bad.I'm just saying (typing).

WTF? You're f*ckin' nuts... I mean, seriously. You take things to an entirely different level in practically every thread you visit.Thats why I'm not even going to get banned for your foolishness. Best of luck to you and those like you on this board. Seriously... F*ckin' basket case.
