if I changed my lose of hair each day to 50 not 100 cause I do keep it twisted or braided , and leave everything eles the same, my possible growth is :Your growth potential is 48.6 inches.

I hope this is true, because based on my last two months it says my potential is 40.5 inches. I resubmitted with a more conservative number based on the last five months and got 27 inches.

cool, I hope it is true to way to go ! my hair has slowed down since I first joined the forum I was getting about 1 a month, I dont know how many strands I have but they said for brown or black to about 180000 so that is what I put, if there is a more correct number I would like to try it, but if my hair will grow better if I keep myself from losing strands each day, then I should be there in no time

Nessa, you're still going through puberty, so don't despair. Your body's hormones could be playing a role in why it seems like it's not going to grow. Patience and a nurturing regimen will be the ultimate factors.

And as for 10.8 inches, change your perspective a little, think of it as almost a foot of hair. That's still a nice length.

I am not blond but I put 120,000 stands because my hair is extra thick. About 50 hairs lost a day and my hair grows .5 inches a month. I got 32.4 inches!

This is funny. I put in a bunch of different information just to see how much it would vary

The longest was 27.0 inches which would be great to me. I really don't know how much growth I get every month because I haven't gotten a tape measure yet and I shed different amounts of hair every day. Anyway, the last time I measurd my hair in the summer it was 14 inces, now I would estimate that the longest part is about 16 inches, it's definitely longer. 27 in. would be great but I might put in some more stats just so I can see a higher number, lol, I love doing silly stuff like that

Just to make sure, I put 0.5/50 (as a max-i don't think i lose even this much)/100000 and ended up with a growth potential of 27 inches. Not too bad...

I put in 1/30/100000 and I received 104.2 inches!! I know I would not let my hair get that long though, because I'm only 5'1", but it really encourages me to keep on pushing.
