This website was really popular a couple years ago until it went down. The owner has since fixed it.

How long can your hair grow?

Please don't use commas. If your hair grows 1/2 inch a month type it in as .5

this is crazy.

I entered: 0.6" and 15 hairs lost per day, and the 100000 for black hair and I got: 141 inches... that is almost 5 times the length from my hairline to my waist... uh yeah right!

Is this referring to root to end? or hairline to end? This makes a big difference.........

Um, does this factor in the genetic "pre-program" of the hair follical? I thought I had heard that hair was programmed to grow to a certain length then stop and fall out. (ie enter the resting phase) So technically, if the follical is scheduled to go into a resting phase after a year or two then stop, wouldn't the max length depend on how fast your hair grows? And how do you determine the active period for each follical?

ITA! It was only for fun, obviously if its saying you can grow 10 ft of hair in 1 year, something is off...but what is so wrong in thinking that we can achieve waistlength hair or longer if we put some hard work into it...there are so many hard evidence on this site that proves it can be done!

Thanks DSD! I remember this site and it was a lot of fun then and now looking at it again. I feel it encourages us to visualize the possibility of growing our hair to our butts, knees and beyond, if we choose to!
