By the way, there are different forms of beauty. Beauty isn't just the commercial stuff portrayed by today's society. Everyone has that one something that puts that "umph" in them. That's beauty.

Awww you think I'm glamourous? I'm blushing! People rarely compliment me in real life except for men being fresh. Women always give me dirty looks. And just as Nice and Wavy said about some people feeling bad about themselves I used to be one of those people. I know how it feels. It took me a long time to come out of it. That's why I make sure to let people know when I see something I like or they look nice. You never know how much a few kind sincere words can mean to someone. It could be the bright spot in their day.

I took that pic when I was 38 y/o...I was playing with the different features of my new digital camera at the time. I blotted out my hands because they were ashy! That pic is my "moms are sexy too" pic. My daughter was 1 years old at the time. I'm 40 in the pic in my siggy. Oh and I did those braids myself!!

There are so many "stop traffic" lookers on this board and this thread pays homage to a few! Ladies, you are GORGEOUS and the pics show off your looks. Some pics are professionally done (or look like it) and others a simple snapshots and they show the beauty just as well.

If we ever had a NATIONAL LHCF Mtg (probably do all ready, I just don't know about it), they should have a fashion and hair show as one of the featured activities! Yeah, that would be the BOMB!

I finally got a chance to look at all the pages of this thread. Bosslady, It looks like you have a very high standard on what beauty should look like. But it's true that what stands out to one person, might not stand out to another. I do believe that everyone is beautiful in their own ways. I see a lot of nice pics.

I also wanted to add that, I wasn't sure if Bosslady was trying to say that any of the ladies are ugly. I think she was saying that most of the ladies looks the norm, like the girl next door kind of look. I don't necessary agree with that, but I will atleast hope she didn't mean that anyone was ugly. Because all I saw was beautiful pics.
