Well I can honestly say I have tried many things, but I think what has helped me the most is listening to my hair and giving it TLC. Like most of you, I am very gently with my hair, I wash it once a week, I would like to wash it twice a week, but I just don't have the time. I think my routine is very simple though. I relax every 6 weeks, I take my vitamins, MSM, B vitamin, and EFA, and I use the elucence line (right now) which I like, I hope to keep using it because I know how I can be, and I stay away from heat as much as possible, I do rollersets always and I never use curling irons and I am doing the protective styles - ponytail bun.
