Last Pic before I Chop, Chop, Chop!

Gotta cut off the last 2 or 3 inches.....that's where all the bleached hair is now. It's really ratty and contributing to breakage. I hate to do it cause the sides are fine but the back is driving me crazy. All I have to do now is find a stylist that will do it right. I'm scurred about that!!! I'm thinking of the Hair Cuttery......help me out ladies!:(

It looks good from here:) but you are the one who deals with it, so do what is best for you and your pretty hair;)

It looks like you may not need to cut that much off, but I'm sure that when you cut it, it will still look good. I hope you make the right for you.

it looks pretty and thick to me
have you tried different products

I have Kei...I tried looking for product that would seal those areas well so that maybe I could grow a little more before I cut. Carol's Daughter Mimosa Hair Honey is doing a fair job, but I'm so nervous about my hair splitting up the hair shaft. If it's damaged in any way it always seems to do that.:(

I did the same last December. It was hard being back above APL after I worked so hard to get below it. I don't regret it, but I do miss my length. :yep:

I just let my color grow out and slowly chopped it off. I will never EVER do permanent color again. I lost so much length and it basically set me back an entire year with hair length. I would have been well beyond APL by now if I had never gotten color. Oh well...now I'm very happy with my hair and I'm glad I chopped it off slowly instead of all at once. Believe it or not I have hair on the sides that still has a couple inches of color on it. I think that means that my hair on the sides grows slow SLOW SLOW....oh well at least it's growing. My color experience cost sooo much and it was the worst thing I've EVER done to my hair.

I hope you decide to wait it out and trim slowly. I kept my ends moisturized and that stopped the breakage. You have gorgeous hair!

Cutting hair always made me nervous....and sad, spoken like a true person who hates scissors but I also know the pain of raggedy ends due to permanent color. Have you tried baggying your ends?

Thank you ladies so much for the compliments and for being so encouraging. Lana and Sareca you really do understand my pain. I have been doing the slow trimming this past year, but now that this damage is nearing the end I suddenly feel this urgency to go ahead and chop the rest. It seems like my hair is now going to get weaker with this mess on the ends. I will never permanent color/highlight again!!!

No one had any suggestions about Hair Cuttery, so I guess that was a dumb idea. :( Keep me line ladies.....
