Ok, I was looking online to find out who sells this particular hair accessory/hat but I wasn't sure what it's called. I was calling it a "beanie" but is that right? TIA!!

I call them beanie's.

A snood is similar but it's more netted.

LOL, I did a Google search and found two basic images for "snood."

The second is definitely closer to what I'm looking for :giggle:

Thanks, ladies! I think I found the right name for it, "slouch beanie" or "tams." I plan on wearing it in a similar fashion as a PS during the winter.

Woah, the painters cap is also called a snood? Live and learn on LHCF!

I love the kint one in your original post.

Thanks for this thread OP. I think the tam is very cute and I think I will go out and buy one or more soon! Will you be putting a silk or satan scarf around your head in the slouchy part?

those are cute!! I wonder if I can wear snoods to work hmmm

I love those for the winter. I always wear my bonnet underneath to protect my hair from rubbing on the material. Throw on one of those and some earrings and your good to go.

Eta- i found mine at target and kmart on clearance. I forgot the target brand but the kmart brand is joe boxer.

Wow, thanks ladies. Didn't think I'd get so many responses (lol) But yes, I do plan to wear something satin underneath to keep from rubbing. I've seen a lot of people wear them in the past year - wasn't sure if they were out of style yet - lol. I plan to check out these websites!!! I want a few basic colors, of course, such as black, white, maybe blue cause I have a lot of blue clothing (lol)

Last season Forever 21 was selling A LOT of these for <$10 ... I hope they bring them back this season.
