Lace front wigs anyone?

Okay,

I was checking out his and hers hair goods online and ran across this nice lace front wig. If there is anyone who is familiar with lace front wigs please help me out. I know they usually recommend a bonding agent, and these strips. Are these damaging to the hair. I would also like to know what are some of your hair maintenance routines for the hair underneath. Please give me some pointers so that I may make a decision on whether to go in that direction.
