Does anyone know if we can use this on our hair if we are just relaxed. I don't have color in my hair. I've also been wondering if we can use items that are for people who color their hair. I would think we would have the same problems with Moisturizing. I wasn't sure.

Hi keeshes

I have this product at home. I don't have color in my hair either but I use it anyway. I like it.

I think we could use products for people with colored hair because their hair needs TLC as well--it;s been chemically processed as well.

I would wait at least a week after you relax.

I used Feria twice and I didn't care for it all that much. It started to fade even though it's supposed to be permenant. I just didn't like it.

Shamboosie recoommends Clairol Textures and Tones which is permenant and does not contain ammonia. This is the one I use and have had great results.

No I've read this part of his book several times and it's confusing when he says it's possible to relax and color the same day. In one paragraph it sounds like you can relax and use Textures and tones on the same day but to honest I'm not sure. I relaxed yesterday and I was gonna' color but the directions says to wait a week so I'm a wait a week.

Re: L`oreal Feria Color Moisturizing treatment ??

Oh this isn't for coloring, its just a moisturizing conditioner for people who color their hair. I plan on showing all my gray hairs!

I'm 28 now, and I've had gray hair since I was 13, it just runs in my family. Crystal, thanks for the tips though.

Re: L`oreal Feria Color Moisturizing treatment ??

I purchased a sample packet of this product from Sally Beauty Supply about three months ago (or so). I didn't care for it because it didn't give my hair any slip whatsoever. I was so thankful that I only purchased a sample packet. Maybe you could buy just the sample packet to try it out.

This product is a regular part of my regime, keeshesfromindy....

My hair is colored now, but I used to use it when my hair was not. I fell in love with it during one of my hair coloring experiments years ago (it used to only come in the box of Feria Color) and I've been using it ever since. It makes my hair very soft and shiny and worked very well as a moisturizing conditioner on my hair.

Good Luck with your sample...tell us how it works out for you!

Re: L`oreal Feria Color Moisturizing treatment ??

Speaking of Feria.....has anyone had any positive or negative experience with this haircolor product? It has been a couple of years since I have dyed my hair and I am looking into dying my hair brown. (My natural hair color is black). I would love to get your input.

Tracy,
Is this the color treatment you use in your hair? I love the color. Is it Feria? If so, what is your regimen?

I use this as a moisturizing treatment. I tried the Feria color but had unfavorable results. Dry brittle hair - and I didn't get the color I wanted - ever. Not so with T&T! The conditioner is the bomb on chemically treated hair overall tho. At least, it is for me.

i gave the feria color a try too and didn't like it at all, my hair was dry&brittle just like tracy said. i won't use it again.
