L\'Oreal Feria Color Moisturizing Treatment
I've been wanting to try this ever since I heard Tracy and a few others rave about it. I bought a sample-sized amount and washed my hair today. I put shea butter and one of my olive oil conconctions in my hair, put a plastic cap over my head, and took a nap. I then washed my hair wirh Glover's Medicated Shampoo and Creme of Nature Ultra Moisturizing Shampoo. I applied the conditioner and began to shower as usual. I would estimate that I left it on for approximately five minutes even though the directions indicate to leave it on for 2 minutes. I rinsed it out and it was a little hard to tell at the beginning if I liked it becasue my fingers were pruny but it has great slip. I couldn't find my wide-toothed comb so I had to use a regular-comb which normally would have proved difficult but with the slip it provided, it wasn't difficult at all to comb my hair.
Afterwards, I sprayed my hair with Back-to-Basics Sunflower Leave-In. Then I mixed jojoba oil and Elucence MBC in my hands and applied it to my hair. My hair is still wet right now, but I expect that my hair will look great after it has air-dried.
I plan on keeping a stash of this as a rinse out moisturizing conditioner (especialy since I can't decide whether or not I want to use Elucence primarily as a leave-in or a rinse-out). It finally dawned on me, that when I do my intensive protein treatments, that I don't have to sit under the dryer again to moisturize my hair......I can use a rinse out.
So for now, I think I am satisfied with my choice of rinse-out moisturizing conditioners---Elucence and Feria Color Moisturizing Treatment. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif
