KRS-One and his "Hip Hop Religion"

" I can approach God directly myself and so I wrote a book called The Gospel of Hip Hop to free from all this nonsense garbage right now. respect the Christianity, the Islam, the Judaism but their time is up.”

Oh no he didn't -

Someone who lived less that 33 years but changed history and time, has had more books written about Him, disciples and followers who gave up their lives for Him, responsible for BC and AD - and YOU MR. KRSOne who most of the world is not even familiar with is going to share "anything" that will change the way we think about God?
Give me a break.

Galatians 1:6-9 Says there is only one Good News, and I don't think it was referring to a "Gospel of Hip Hop." Just another form of idolatry.:nono:

G. Craige Lewis has been warning people about this for a long time:

The comments are even more interesting and from a variety of religious or areligious experiences. I mean, Abrahamic faiths are wrong??? :lachen: One guy said that he wasn't religious and so hip-hop wouldn't be for him either. LOL. Eh, this is all just the reinvention of smidgeon religion...he'll take some concepts and relabel them. Rastafari???

Okay, and was this bonehead the same dood who produced and sang with Lisa Lisa?

I grew up in the Caribbean and for a time I thought about being Rasta :yep: The emphasis on health, a sense of community and wholesome living was attractive... but the main thing that stopped me was that they believe Haile Selassie was God incarnate.

LOLOL. We have a long-standing history with that name, that's for sure. I don't like that religion for other reasons....well, and that one too. Ras Tafari knew he wasn't G-d, not in the slightest. But there was a drought and as soon as he stepped down onto Jamaican soil, rain. But couldn't they have attributed that to some orthodox priests actually praying for the people of Jamaica??? I also don't like that Marley died from metastasis...from a broken toe complication???? He could have saved his life. They go on and on about the Ethiopian Orthodox Church...they would have gotten treatment. :nono:
