The latest rage in Korea is the "reverse perm" or afro perm and i must say - the results are quite striking but I still cant help asking myself........WHY????

Oh i have heard about this ages ago. 2 Dj's from a radio station went to some dub plate reggae/bashment competition and they were talking bout how some of the japanese women would darken their skin and create fro's and shack and bruck out so good they'd beat the west indians in dancehall queen competitions.

ETA: Its not really a shock to be honest it kind of like the same concept of curly perms...

Wow.

Even though it may sound crazy....it does make you apprecate your hair more, not because somebody else is makeing it "hot" (eeek lol ) though.....

Becuase things that i/we might take for granted that we can do to our hair--Dreds, cornrows, kinky twist, coils/starter dreads.....other races cant even do and actually come up with all kind of techniques to try and do it

Can you imagine if "western beauty" suddendly stopped.....everyone tanned more, more lip/butt injections, black hair......WOW

Whoa! I'm gonna be honest. I'm pretty happy for them. Everyone should take the time out, at least once in life, to play in their hair. Color it, curl it, have fun with it. When you decide to settle, it'll grow back. I think it's kinda cool.
