Knock off Corioliss Flat iron????

Hey ladies I found a pink corioliss flat iron on ebay (with gold plates) I noticed some have pink plates and some have gold, is there a difference? They both say they are ceramic but why are the plates different is one a knowck off?

Hmm,
what's the scoop on the corioliss as compared to the chi and other ceramic, ionic flat irons? where are they manufactured--I rarely see them.
