Corioliss Wet to dry flat iron

I’m thinking about getting a Corioliss wet-to-dry flat iron and I was wondering:
1. What products are best for this type of flat ironing?
2. Has anyone experienced any immediate damage from using a wet to dry.
I’m only going to use it once or twice a week.
