Kinky Twists help.

Ladies I just had a few questions about kinky twists. Are these as damaging as micro braids. I'm trying to stretch my relaxers as long as possible while I'm pregnant and I thought this would be a cute style but only if its less stress on the hair. Micros are cute but they are hell to take out and caution more breakage than I care for. So for the ladies who have tried this style how did you like it, what are some pros and cons especially compared to micros, and since its summer will they be hot? TIA for all replies.

To be honest, I have just a hard a time taking these out, if not more, than micros. With micros, I can take a bunch out at once, using water and conditioner. These you HAVE to take out one by one. I didn't notice much breakage with either kinky twists or micros. The one plus for kinky twists is that they look better longer. When they get "old", they still look good.

I just took some out about a month ago. And I experienced alot of breakage along my hairline.
