Today I needed a deep condition but I also needed to exercise. seeing as I dont have a hooded dryer yet, I dampened(sp? a real word?) my plaits slapped on the conditioner, put on a shower cap and climbed on my elliptical machine. 20 minutes later (I was tired :( ) I climbed off to see a nice steamy showercap and a nice sweaty face! lol

Does anyone else combine hair treatments and their daily duties? Got any good tips? Please share! thanks

I did the same thing last night! Great minds think alike :) I put on my conditioner, put on a grocery store bag (ghetto I now, but they are free with purchase..lol) and hit my treadmill for 35 minutes. The only other thing I do is sleep in the conditioner overnight with the grocery store bag and then a scarf on over that. I do that once a month.

When I'm at the gym sometimes I put conditioner in my hair and go sit in the steam room. It's relaxing and good for my hair. :)

This doesn't work for me. I tried it for the last time about a month ago on the treadmill. The outcome just wasn't the same... I sweat a lot during work-outs and think the salt might have affected the way my hair absorbed the conditioning.

Or it could be just my imagination. The fact remains, I don't like it.

I dont think mine gets salty, cos my head doesnt sweat that much, plus it wasnt that intense :ohwell: Still haven't rinsed it out yet, gosh I'm so lazy.

There's nothing wrong with grocery store bags:lol: I use them for deep conditioning and for shower caps!!!

Good tips in here!

I'm going to try the steam room conditioning, and bag while I work out. I never thought about that. Cool! :)

<---- (not that many weights, though) for about an hour and sweat from head to toe like crazy!

I put a couple of plastic caps on my head. When I need to, I'll use a plastic grocery bag, also. :yep:
