Synopsis
Woman says stylist snuck in some weird keratin conditioner prior to her having a blowout/flat iron. Her curls were damaged in the process and feels like her curl pattern was altered on purposed.
Keratin conditioner and BKT are not the same thing. Sounds just like her hair got heat damaged after using a temperature that was too high although the lady should have listened to her.
It came off as a scare tactic to push women with textured/curly hair into this particular salon.
I would say if your are in love with your curl pattern and do not want it altered either research and do it yourself or don't straighten at all. Blowouts sound pretty damaging.
