Wow!! How can I choose between my two favorites?
I guess if forced to choose, I would pick Kenra. This is only because Humecto works best on my hair when I leave it in for at least 20 minutes, or when I use heat. It doesn't work the same in only 5 minutes. Kenra is consistently wonderful with 5 minutes, 20 minutes, heat or no heat. Sometimes you just don't have time for a lengthy conditioning treatment.
Thanks for posting this thread Carlie I have Kendra and was always curious about Keracare Humecto.
I dont have any Keracare products except for samples I have not tried.
I say Kenra. Because of this board I jumped too quick to buy humecto a few weeks ago and hated it after the first try. Kenra is fabolous and my staple from now on. It reminds me of humectress but far more superior in moisturizing
Just gotta jump in cause folks is talking about my Humecto...I think the Humecto from the TUB would be preferable than the Humecto from the bottle. From what I've heard...the bottle form is watery ...but the from the tub...it's rich and thick. That may or may not...make a difference. I would never buy the bottle form of Humecto.
I've only use Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner and it really works for my hair. I haven't used my sample of Keracare Humecto yet...i guess I'll have to try it and get back to y'all!
If you really have a problem deciding, use both. My favorite treat is to saturate my hair with humecto first, then slather on some kenra on top of that, then add maybe a little more humecto and let them both penetrate. Talk about moisture /images/graemlins/cool.gif see, you really don't have to choose /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I am want to try Kenra so badly but it seems like the only place to get it is online. Does anyone from NYC know of a store I can purchase Kenra.

Not that it took much coaxing, but Allandra, look what you done gone and done. /images/graemlins/look.gif Now I gotta go and get the Kenra too. As Caramelhonee would say DAMN, DAMN DAMN!! /images/graemlins/wallbash.gif
Hey Carlie, /images/graemlins/wave.gif
I have used Kenra MC in the past..and I love them both. But lately Kenra MC hasn’t been working like it used to. I thought my hair had gotten used to it so I haven’t used it in over a month. I tried it again yesterday and it was good but no Humecto. I say that Humecto gives me Moisture 10, and slip 10. I say that Kenra gives me moisture 8 and slip 8.

Hey Allandra!
I actually have tried the sample sizes of both products. It was love at first sight w. Kenra! /images/graemlins/love.gif With the humecto, it came in one of those small packets and I don't feel there was enough in the packet to really saturate all of my hair. From the amount that was in the packet, I feel that it detangled my hair very well....but I don't think that experience is enough for me to really judge between the two.
Well, today I went out and bought for the 1st time 2 full size bottles of the Kenra MC. In order for me to get the Humecto, I'll have to either order it or go out to the city to buy it. I'm sure the Kenra will take care of me quite well until I get some humecto though. /images/graemlins/love.gif
Thanks ladies for all of your responses. I really do appreciate your input.
OT: Today, I also picked up some Nexxus Keraphix and the Nioxin Smoothing System!!! /images/graemlins/trampoline.gif
