Kal Silica is half price here...Is it any good???

The health food store has Kal Silica 1/2 price this week...Is it any good?? Is it for brittle hair only?? Is it a staple for hair/skin regemines??

Yes, Kal SUPER Silica is a good product. I know it was VERY popular in the past on various hair boards w/ those people who wanted to combine Silica w/ MSM (hence the "super" part). Now many peeps are taking both things separately in what I consider somewhat megadoses. This might be a good (and rather cheap) way to try both products at one time and seeing how your body handles them. Kal's stuff does "work"......normally they are a bit expensive for my taste, but w/ a 50% sell.....definately worth a try, IMHO!

i use the Super Silica Plus. i recently switched to Natrol Vegetal Silica but switched back after a few months because the results were not as good, particularly with my nails. even though i've been taking the Kal again for a while, my nails are still not back to what they were. i broke my own rule about experimenting...

ANYWAY... lol... yes, this is a good product!

It's great, definitely notice a difference when I don't use it. Take it twice daily. How much was it? I usually buy online.

It was originally 14.99, I got it for 7.50+tax. I went back to get some more today and it was %25 off (11.24)...Oh well. The lady at the health food store said they only do 1/2 price on Mon. and Tues. then things go to %25 off for the rest of the week...guess I will be going on Mondays from now on!!!

It is KAL Silica Plus, 90 Rapid-Solv Tabs, 600mg Horstail Extract and 20 Mg Colloidal Hydrophilic Silica Gel...nothing re MSM (I use UltraNourish hair, it has 500mg MSM is this okay or do I need more??

Oh yeah how do these prices compare to other prices you guys have seen...Is 11.24 still a good deal?? If it is I will buy 2 more. Hopefully I like it!

TM...LOL, based on the other threads about your great hair growth, you need nothing more for that specifically, IMHO! The 500 mgs in UltraNourishHair is good, unless you just want to add more. Check out the pros and cons of MSM before increasing your dosage, but you may want to try it for the other health benefits it offers.

LOL TM...yeah, I do feel as if you and a few more ladies are my "hair buddys" 'cuz you're always bringing up interesting questions and making me think about and revaluate stuff. I do love your enthuaism.

Tho I must tell you, compared to Jade 21, my knowledge is little. Now THAT'S an expert!

When I get some pics, I will post them here. LOL....I'd never really considered it before, but this site has a way of rubbing off on ya!

BTW...you got a GREAT deal on the Kal's. I think you'll like their stuff....AND the pills are rather easy to swallow to boot.
