:ohwell:I joined the board LITERALLY two days ago, and I had a stylist disaster today....

What had happened was....I drove around ALL morning to find a stylist who could relax my 8wks post hair...my hair grows about 3/4 in. a month so it was a tangled mess....My old stylist was nowhere to be found, and the old shop was closed down...Maybe this was a sign:perplexed

So I go to a random stylist...:nono: I know, you all will jump on me for this, but TRUST ME I learned my lesson!

She ripped through my hair with a brush, then tore my ends apart while she was sectioning out my hair....

the relaxer came out well...but my hair was lifeless and broken off...Which I KNOW SHE CAUSED because I just flat-ironed my hair last weekend and I am OCD about damage/ends...

Long story short, I just had my mom chop my hair from APL to barely shoulder-length to get rid of all the damage and uneven hair:sad:

The cut looks good tho, I actually think this length looks good on me...attached is a before/after pic...before length is also in my avatar...guess i should change it now, lol:look:

Soror, ;)

It doesn't look like you had to cut too much at all. The new cut looks so nice and neat and wonderfully healthy too.

It will grow back in no time with a good, healthy hair regimen.

Welcome to the forum.Sorry this happend to you. Like you said lesson learned. I'm sure you'll be back to APL in no time. I love your hair btw. Wish mine was as thick! And your new cut looks beautiful on you. Happy Growing!

yes, that is a cute cut on you, and now that you've got a full blunt totally healthy start on your ends, you'll put the "lh" in lhcf in no time!

No, no jumping on you but you know you should have stopped her destruction early on. The cuts looks great though.

Looks awesome, Soror!

Welcome to the board!

I, too, had awful results with "impulsiveness"!

I'm 26 weeks post, wearing sew-ins and I'm tired of wearing them because my hair grows so fast and the roots kick up the install. I want to rock a nice bob but don't know if I wanna texlax or go natural. I want to find a good stylist but I'm not gonna rush, though.

Soror, I'm sorry that this happened to you :nono: it's like don't you know you suppose to be easy especially during touch-up time. She definitely could have did a better job considering she wanted you to continuing coming back for her business.. :ohwell:
