I am 13 months post B/C.... No products moisturize my hair. I have resulted to using just grease and my hair in thriving.
(I wear my hair braided under wigs).
I remember once I resorted to using grease. However, I swore it off a couple years back and I haven't used it since. I brought the Keracare moisturizer and I didn't like how it felt on my hair once I put it on so I had been on the search for a decent moisturizer. Then a friend (whose hair is banging) flat-ironed my hair and used a little bit of her Keracare moisturizer. My hair was shiny and looking great. So I gave Keracare another try and what do ya know...I LOVE it.
I'm a KeraCare freak, but had not tried the moisturizer yet. I looked at it in the bss today, I actually went back to it a couple of times. But because I don't use grease on my hair I decided against purchasing it....Is it light weight?
I wouldn't consider Keracare's moisturizer a grease, but maybe it is?? It seems more moisturizing than a grease to me and it's not heavy at all, but since my hair is thick, I do use a good bit. You may not like how it feels when you first put it on your hair, but once it sinks in like 5 minutes later, your hair will be so soft, shiny, and moisturized.
