Jumped on the 1/2 wig bandwagon.

After hearing for weeks about falls & phony ponies and protective styles, and worrying aobut it not looking natural or not matching my hair color.....

It's a freetress FC-102. It's actually about the same length as my own hair. I didn't want to go too long, because I knew I was going to have a hard time with the color being off, and I didn't want to have the wrong color hair AND have hair that is too long..yet.

My S/O came in the door and was like "THAT'S why you took so long coming home..you went and got your hair done..You look good babe!"

I smiled and blushed...but then I told him it wasn't mine and his jaw dropped. He doesn't like weaves, or wigs but he gave this the thumb up, even though I wold have rocked it anyway.

The color doesn't match..my hair is lighter...and my hair is SO much more damaged than I thought, that I won't wear the fall the "correct" way until I get ALL my bad ends clipped. I might cut about 3" off  and fromt hat point on, baby my hair and get it use this as a protective style

I'm rambling..and I don't even have the pics to back it up..soon..waiting for the camera to charge up  \

Thanks to all the ladies who were singing praises of instant weaves...

This will be my protective style for awhile.

That is great. You guys got me curious now. I may look into one myself. :D I can't wait to see the pics :)

Girl...I ordered one too. I think I look better with my hair down. This is a great way to protect hair.

I am so glad you found one!!
I wore an new one today and my boss said "How do you keep your hair looking so good when you workout all the time??" this fall had big waves of curls and a little highlight to it that matches my hennas. I had to tell her and she flipped!! "It looks just like your hair ”...well it is my hair, I have the receipt. When my hair grows super long I will still use them because they are such a time saver. Instant hair do, little to no effort. I'll post a picture with some of my falls on soon. I wear them on the days I don't workout. I wear my UPA clips on workout days. I'm in faux hair heaven while my hair is protected and growing. This new fall I have looks so close to my hair and it was $20.00! The quality of the falls have increased an incredible amount recently. So think, a trip to the salon for a shampoo set would be $35.00. One workout and the style is gone. For me, that style lasts indefinitely. Now that i have my Caruso rollers, all I have to do is curl my front edge and blend, vola!! Glam city!

One suggestion is to make sure your scalp is well oiled while you are wearing the 3/4 wig so that you don't get the itches. My scalp is so sensitive, I make sure to WGO or Olive oil it really well before I put my hair up to go under the fall.

Can't wait to see the pics JJ. What are you guys doing to the hair under the falls?
The idea thing would be to do cornrows down the back (loose ones), but I cant braid so I divide my hair in halves, make two ponys an then bobby pen them togther to make them lay down flat in the back.. I leave my front edges out and smooth or curl them depending on the fall I'm wearing at the time.. It's the coolest thing ever. I oill my hair well under so it feels good when I take them off.

Beause I take mine off when I get home and put them up, they always look good, no sleeping on them or working out in them so they don't get messed up!! I pop a UPA clip on to go to the gym. The UPA clips are perfect tof the gym because if you sweat like I do, you can wash them as often as you like to freshen them up because they are human hair.
