hit: african pride moisture miracle leave in.... This was a surprise hit for me. I stole some from my neice and had to buy my own. Great over leave in and under gel for my wash and goes. Gives me lasting great results everytime. I'm finally comfie wearing my wash and goes out and its because of this product.

Never fails, uber moisture, softness galore. I usually don't use her products in the summer because its almost too much moisture. I pray God continues to bless her and the family. My favorite brand over the years ( psst @Napata a few random sales would make me happy)

I have been experimenting with many shampoos the last few weeks.

HIT:
Aussie miracle curls shampoo & Tresemme flawless curls shampoo: Cleanses without stripping, I can detangle with both these shampoos. They almost feel like co-washing with suds.
Cream of nature argan oil of Morocco shampoo: Very gentle cleanser that I can partially finger detangle with easily. I may have a slight allergy from it or something, because my eyes tear up each time I use it Is it still a HIT? not sure lol

MISS:
Tresemme boutanique nourish and replenish shampoo: Made my strands feel rough and very weirdly dry. I did not like this shampoo at all.
Garnier whole blends avocado/shea butter shampoo & Garnier whole blends honey treasures shampoo: They gave me the same result, slightly drying, cleanse well but it was nothing special.
Camille Rose Natural Curl Love Milk: Has great slip, smells very nice, a little bit goes a long way, very moisturizing. It left my strands coated and icky. I could not stand it on, and I washed my hair asap.
Camille Rose curl maker: I wanted this to work so bad. But it did not. it was epic fail as WNG. It had great slip, and it applied like a dream for a gel. HOWEVER, It did not last even one day, and NC weather won the battle of humidity vs curl definition. It left my strands coated as well.
Wet extreme line gel: It did not blow my mind. Too crunchy for my liking. It did not do much for frizz even though I got nice clumps with it. I might retry this a second time just to make sure.

If you have any drugstore shampoos you think are worth trial, let me know!

Camille Rose Curl Maker pairs extremely well w/ Mielle Pomegranate Curling Custard. This combo will give you at least 5 days of wearability, even in NC humidity. It has been tested in Southern VA humidity, which is about the same as NC.

Shea butter has been a big win for my hair. Although I have SSKs I don’t notice them as much as before, my hair stays moisturized for practically a whole week, and my hair seems even more stretched then usual.

Looking forward to trying whipped Shea butter mixes.

Miss: Simple Truth Micellar Shampoo. Not the harshest thing I've used but certainly not gentle like they claim. Hated it on mine and dd2's hair. Don't think I'll bother trying it on dd1 (which is funny because I bought it with her in mind. It's also pretty fragrant which I hate.

Shescentit Tahiti Cocktail Hair sorbet

Lovely butter type product. Has water in it but seems to be more so a sealer with a high sheen because of the oils and honey. I like. Smells yummy too.

Thanks for the review. I haven't tried any of the Maui Moisture products yet but I'm seeing them a lot.

I also use a clarifying shampoo followed by a moisturizing shampoo. It adds to my PJ ways but it works well too lol.
