I was feeling bad that we took over that poor woman's thread...so I wanted to move it to a new one.

What's your fave Joico product, or fave line by Joico?

Discuss, discuss.

I love Joico kpak. I used to not like it so much but after a dye mishap, I really became able to appreciate it. It saved my hair.

I also like kpak serum.

Well...*sips on berry tea*

This is what I own from Joico:

K-pak line (everything but the hairspray)
Moisture Recovery line (I have the liters of the shampoo/conditioner--tried it all, using the treatment lotion b/c the balm was too heavy)
Silk Result shampoo/conditioner
Daily Care Treatment Shampoo

If you go to the Joico's website, you'll see that's a lot of stuff. The K-pak line alone. And I'm waiting on the K-pak 17 minute kit to come in the mail.

So, K-pak line is my final answer :lick:...Take that, Aveda! :look:

Random hair thought: I find it so fascinating how much technology goes into these products. I mean they thought of it all when they made this stuff. If you color, relaxed, bleach, use heat, whatever, they know how to make your hair look good. It's just amazing to me. They can never get rid of me, I love them so much

@Gym: Be careful what you wish for, right??
(Industrial-strength hair )

:lachen: It's ok. I was definately taking notes! I'm going to hang over here in this thread as well. :yep:

The amount of science that goes into beauty products is amazing to me too. Do people have any idea how much technology goes into a simple mascara?

I wish joico would just go ahead and make a relaxer.

Where do i start??? I loves me some Joico. I like the Kpak and Silk Results Line. I bought some other Moisture kind in a blue tub but I cant remember the name. I have not used it yet.

When I use these products my hair airdrys as though I have used heat, silky and straight.

I have the 17 minute reconstructor line and it is da sh*t!!

Here is a pic of it from my fotki

How often do you use the 17 minute set?

So hard to decide. I use the K-pak chelating poo, deep moisturizer, and reconstructor and the moisture recovery conditioner (that I LOVE). I guess its a tie betweenthe two lines.

Oh I can't wait!

Oh, the blue tube: Moisture Recovery Treatment balm or lotion??

Haven't used the Silk Result yet, but I will soon (maybe next wash)...

~Nibbles on cookie~

I'm excited to try this line. I haven't been this anxious about a new product since I discovered Aveda :spinning:

Oh, girl I know!! Like that Define-a-lash w/the rubber brush?? I mean, who knew??

And yes, you and I should write them 5 letters every day till the come out with a relaxer :yep:. they are all about enhancing the coloring experience this year and next yr, so perhaps, a relaxer will come after that...That would be fabulous!

I have been using it every other week. My hair seems to love it. It seems like a light protien to my hair.

I also have the Kpak split end mender. I need to use it consistently so that i can give a review on it. I love the serum too.

I just went and look in my stash. I have the Moisture Recovery Treatment Balm for thick /coarse dry hair.

Mascara technology is always interesting to me. One of the clinque mascaras is even charged to be attracted to the charge of your eyelashes so that it strings together on the lash to look long and defined.

A kpak relaxer and pre and post Kpak relaxer steps would be Great!

I think I'll be heading to the BSS during my lunch break tomorrow to check out Joico. :spinning: It sounds like a great product.

Um, Ok wow.

*looks at my $7 Loreal mascara, hangs head, feeling like a preschooler with play-play makeup*

*sips tea before I join in this awesome thread*

After reading the other thread I went out and bought Joico K Pak Reconstructor...I started to get the Serum too but I had to catch myself...I get so excited around hair products...:lachen::lachen:...but now that I've read all these reviews...I think I'm going back to get the Serum...I can't wait to wash my hair on Friday!

*taking a bite of cookie to calm down*

@mzcris: Definitely get the Protect & Shine serum. It's got amazing ingredients.

Anyone else use the Split End Mender? I need to be more consistent with using it as well. I want to see if it really prevents splits. I'm too impatient to see if it mends them, cuz I'll just snip those puppies off whenever I get into S&D mode, lol.

*kinda wishing someone would come over right now with a shopping cart and take all my non-Joico products home with them so I don't have to look at them anymore*

Thanks...going get it tomorrow!

My hair loves Joico:love: Awesome ingredients and great results!

1.) Joico Body Luxe Thickening Shampoo
2.) Joico Body Luxe Thickening Conditioner
3.) K-Pak Intense Hydrator

I plan on trying their silk line in the near future.

I used the k-pak line for the first time yesterday... My hair felt kinda hard, yet strong... I'll have to use it a couple more times before I can determine it's effectiveness with my hair.

the k-pak line helped me transition greatly. i used to use joico's super conditioning shampoo and then the kpak reconstructor conditioner and then the leave in reconstructor when i put heat in my hair and i barely had any shedding or breakage for a while

i also like the moisture recovery line as well and i am currently using it

What do you suggest for I use for brittle/coarse strands near the roots? *sips tea to calm down* My hair is stressing me out right now :(

^^^You might want to try the Joico MR Treatment Balm if your hair is coarse and brittle. I use that and my hair turns out soft everytime.

i just started using Joico and I just love it. Im using the Kpak with a couple of styling produx fr the luxe and silk line. I am completely sold on this line and will be collecting the moisture recovery line and more styling products while itz on sale
