Wow PB, this is awesome that you brought up this topic because I was just talking to someone about this very topic. Well, this is what my research has yielded in regards to the name Yeshua. The name of Jesus is the English form of Iesous, which was the Greek form of the Aramaic name Yeshua. Yeshua is itself a contracted form of Yehoshua, which can also be interpreted as Joshua. If you look up the religious history of the name Joshua, you would learn that it is from the Hebrew name Yehoshua, which meant "YAHWEH is salvation".
So, all of these names are correct. As many have indicated, Jesus is called by many names (e.g., Bright and morning star, The word, etc.). But all that I believe is important is GOD knows who you are referring to and what is in your heart when you call on his name. However, often when I pray I love to call on the Lord by his Aramaic name, Yeshua...I don't know why that does something in my heart.
God bless you all and keep on asking questions, that's the best way to truly get to know the Lord and all that is involved in a relationship with him.
