Thanks ladies...and thanks to Poohbear and Star for posting my quotes.

My regiment now goes like this:

I breakdown my regiment into a 2 week pattern:

Week 1:

Go to dominican salon for a wash, condition and set. To keep my curly set up I use serum on my hair every night and pin curl my hair with bobby pins. (I find pin curls work better than convential roller with natural falling curls).
I don't use a comb at all this week. I style using my fingers, and I use no moisturizers this week only oil and serums.

Week 2:

Wash and condition my hair (I usually use NTM). I air dry 50% with it out with no products. Then I use a moisturizer and bun my hair for it to dry completely. I keep my hair in a bun for the next day or two but applying moisturizer to my hair every night. After two days I will either wear a wrap or do a braidout.

Week 3:

Repeat week 1

Week 4:

Repeat week 2

I relax my hair at least 4 months apart but lately I'm averaging 8 months. My staple products are: Soft Sheen's finishing lotion moisturizer, Soft Sheen's mega-hertz serum, Soft Sheen's Optimum oil therapy and Doo Gro hair growth stimulant oil.
What is NTM?

Thanks for the compliments ladies...ya'll are putting a smile on my frown today :)

I was one week post relaxer in my April pictures. I let my hair air dry loose until it's about 50 % dry then I put it in a ponytail/bun with a moisturizer on the length until the rest is dry. When I'm ready to wear my hair straight, I take my hair out of the bun, apply moisturizer and oil and wrap my hair with tons of bobby pins holding everything down tightly and securing it with a satin scarf.

In the morning my hair is straight and I just add serum! The next time I wash my hair I'll take pictures of the process for you guys to see.
Thanks for sharing! I wonder if this will work on my hair which has 7 months of new growth!?!? :scratchch

JenniferMd's hair is DA BOMB!!! You are such an inspiration.

I haven't forgotten our to be determined date for going to the Dominican salon together! :)

Always gorgeous girl. :) :) I'm sorry I missed the latest meeting, you looked great.

By the way, how is work?

Thanks again guys,

Poohbear, I wouldn't recommend airdrying 7 months post relaxed hair. When I went that long if I washed my hair I would always blowdry my hair with a heat protectant and then wrap my hair with a silk scarf (when I washed my hair myself, which wasn't that often at that stage). Airdrying was too harsh for my hair that long post relaxer.

MizAvalon, just let me know when you're ready :)

Hey Mel, we missed you at the meeting! Work is stressful, but I'll take that up on the OT forum

I too was in awe of JenniferMD's hair. So much that a while ago I pmed her asking for her to be my hair mentor. I admire her hair so much and wanted to do what she did, but I haven't had the time 'cause med school had been soooo hectic lately and I had NO time to come online let alone take care of my hair. But now she has inspired me once again and I'll be getting the BC soon.
