JCP Corporate called me to do a follow up on my situation. Avalon sent samples (just the detangling shampoo, cream hair dress, and some humecto). The lady I spoke with from JCP said that they do have a hard time sometimes getting their products on time from Avalon. Why would Avalon do that though when JCP is likely their largest account?

Anyway, JCP sent me a $25 gift card in the mail. My stylist also offered to do a deep conditioning with the 5 in 1 (since it's in now). She's such a sweetie, she's not to blame--but I feel like the 5 in 1 won't have the same effect as it would have had it been applied after the relaxer was rinsed.

I'm still losing more hair than I'd like to--but hey I'll survive.

Well it's nice to know they followed through and called to apologize. A lot of major chains wouldn't have bothered to respond. And the $25 card is a nice added touch.
 
Glad JCP redeemed themselves. All unhappy customers deserve that, not all businesses give it up!
 
Good job, Supergirl! I am glad that Avalon was responsive to your situation.

BTW: When you say you are losing more hair than you would like to be losing, what exactly does that mean?

Just curious to know.

I talked to a salon once and they said that they stopped using the Affirm Relaxer because they didn't get timely shipments from Avlon.

NB,

I am still losing about 10-12 hairs per wash/condition. I also notice long hairs on my arms and clothes throughout the day (perhaps 4 to 6 daily). Hopefully, it's just a shedding season that just so happened to coincide with this chain of events. I'm glad to say that I don't see any broken hairs, just long hairs.
