now im sorry but i just had to take pics and show you all this mess. they are having young girls think that they are at Victoria secrets shopping for panties and bras. so any where from size 4 to 16 in girls. some of the things they label on the underwear and price them are ridiculous. taking bout 2 for $9 dollars and 3 for 9 bows lace ribbons etc.:nono: when i was from 3-14 my momma use to buy me underwear in a pack with about 6-7 pairs for 4.99 or 6 at the most. now they selling them individually like vickies 5 for 25 dollars:rolleyes: one pair said hugs and kisses but u look at the back and where the monkies tail is at it travels to the behind its a little much:look: and one of the undies look like a thong and i thought it was until i looked at the back and they have the matching bra thats shaped like a bikini triangle sized which one cover nothin but the nipple and some other parts. i know this may not be something new but i rarely go in pennys.

I didn't get panies like that until I was good and grown enough for me to pay for them by myself!

They are kinda kute though. I've seen these in Pennys for about a year or so. I started to buy some (I wear like a 12 in lil gurls) Now if my overgrown barbie lookin self would wear these, you kno they are too sexified.

they are cute but i think too much. little girls already talk about having a bra at like 6. i see no point in wearing one if ur a AAA.

my lil butt can fit in them too b4 andrew i could fit a 12/14 in panties bt my size was a 14. i was 104 but now i wear a 16 i have a lil room in em:lachen:
exactly at 15 i was buying individuals that wear like 2-3 dollars and when i was 12 i went to ross and got a thong that said wild thing. i hid it and only wore it once cause if my momma woulda seen it i would have been gettin beat that whole week:lachen: i eventually threw it away i was too scared to wear it again:nono:

Those leopard prints :nono: Might as well be see through. My children(if/when I have some) will be wearing the pack ones just like I did. These stores are trying to grow these girls too fast.

they really are that leopard ones look pinup like:wallbash: a lot of them undies have little sayings that aren't really appropriate i didn't have time to take more pics. and then they displaying them like its lingerie that opens up minds of pedophiles them seeing how it would look on a little girl. and the bras say little things on the breast sides.

well the only way for them to stop is if they get tons and tons of angry, disgusted phone calls, emails. and if everyone decides not to buy them. Those look like stuff out of Vickie's I wouldn't put them on a kid.

i would be i dont have the energy(im really sick) and i would need many ppl to file a petition. and some ppl do buy these for their children the regular pennies shoppers:nono:

sorry to hear that, hope you get better soon.
let's start with the ladies on this board, and all of us can send emails out to those on our lists and it can spread from there-grassroots style.

ITA. The leopard print ones are disturbing. They also sell young girls' bras with padded cups now. In fact, unless you buy a sports bra, it's hard to find bras without the padded cups for girls. It will be a size 26A but it will have a padded cup on it. Just like a grown woman's.

it was to me too it reminds me of mulan rouge(sp) and just thinking of not just a 5 year old wearing it 10-13 too:nono: and they dont need no dog on padded bras if u aint got it u just aint got it:wallbash:

thanks i will be better by tomorrow. hopefully this madness can stop lil girls dont need nothin sexy:nono:

Its not just pennys... target has a section like this too. I'm not down with the silky/sexy panties/nighties/thongs/padded bras for 5 year olds. And I'm not down with Hannah Montana either if we're putting it all out there.

I don't see anything wrong with the undies :S

Maybe I'm being biased since I used to work there, but they look normal to me. They do look like the the womens underwear that's the same brand that they sell there though, but that brand typically makes very large, boyish, colorful undies.

LOL My bff, she always grew up faster than me. I was always a late bloomer. She bought me a gstring for my eighth grade graduation, and after that it was on like popcorn!! loool

My daughter is going to be crying. She's fixin to keep on getting the Haines (or Fruit of the Loom) panties in the six pack bag. Plain cotton girl's underwear in pink, light blue, white and mayyyybeee light green. I'm such a mean mommy. She's lucky she got a pack of The Littlest Pet Shop underwear last time around. They were on sale for $3 for four pairs.

"Little pumpkin, aint no one but you and me gonna see your underwear!!!"

As to the animal print: Not in my daughter's underwear drawer.

Six is a mighty fine age to be and she's going to live it for all it's worth. Eighteen will come in good time. Not one minute sooner than it needs to if I have anything to say about it.

So you feel they are appropriate for 6 year olds. Just asking.

Are they for 6 year olds? 12 or 13 maybe. 6 or 7? No. :nono:

I had undies kind of like that around puberty (11 or so.... I wore undies like that until I was about 19 or 20 though :look:). Didn't make me feel too sexual...

Ugh!! Why can't kids just be kids anymore? They need to get some Underoos in that joint.

Okay!

Shoot, I'm grown and have a hard time finding regular panties at some places.

Everything is g-string, thong, material that doesn't let your stuff breathe.

I'm like where the hell are the plain ole cotton granny panties?! :lachen:

That's ashame! When I was a kid my draws only had the days of the week on them! Those monkey draws a I saw were ridiculous! My daughter wouldn't be wearing that crap.

Girl, how did u get away with taking pics? Those undies are absolutely inappropriate. Especially those lacey ones and the leopard/cheetah ones. There's no reason a lil girl needs all that going on. I still get DD the bloomer looking underwear in the packs.

What a blast from the past! I used to lurvvvvvvvvvvvve my Underoos. You couldn't tell me that I wasn't Wonder Woman. :lachen:

Seriously, they need to bring those back.

Do they still make the cute panty and tank top sets for little girls anymore? I used to have those too when I was little.

ETA: Leopard print undies are too much BUT then again, I see A LOT of leopard print on little girls' clothing/shoes/outerwear. But I'm saying, I didn't get my first pair of animal print undies until I was 22! I wanted to feel sexy and that's why I bought them.

This is utterly rediculous!!!! I had to come out of lurk mode to post here. When will we say enough!! Why would anyone market a product like this to children. As someone stated earlier who will be seeing their undergarments. And even if no one is seeing them why would a child need to wear undergarments that are so sexy... I just dont get it.

I will be putting in a phone call as well as writing to their buyers. Let children be children. Dang if they wear this from 6-10. What the heck will they wear from 10-14.....

They still sell underoos....Thanking the Lord AGAIN, that I have boys.
FYI:
They still sell the packs(granny panties) at walmart and target. Even though I hate that name. Why do I have to be a granny cause I like to keep all this wagon I am draggin covered....:ohwell:

:giggle: I hear you.

I'm glad I have a son too. I buy his boxers, a-shirts and thermals so fast. I don't have to inspect any undergarments. I fly through the store. Unless ds is like "I have the blue, gray and white plaid ones already ma".
