HIT: cornrows, just leaving my hair alone

HITS: Jamila Henna, Joico Body Luxe poo and cond, I have used this since November and it leaves my hair so soft, smelling good and the slip is amazing

MISS: Organix coconut milk intensive treament conditioner, my hair did not like it and it did nothing for may hair

ShamWow (removes amazing amount of water from my hair and doesn't pull)

Olive Oil - cooking spray can - (applied to box braids, much easier than any other method)

Taliah Waajid Lock It Up - Gave me fantastic 2 stranded twists with twists out for 2 weeks.

Miss
KKCC - this has always been a miss for me but trying to use it up.

Plopping, Plunking, whatever the proper term is for using a t-shirt rather than a towel to wrap your hair up in to soak up the water.

Miss: coconut oil and Deva-Curl products (drying). :| does nothing for me...

-Applying oil to freshly washed wet hair, then applying leave-in. After a 2 month trial, this method is a keeper

-Latest oil mix: Rice bran oil + EVOO

- My new leave-in mix: S-curl +ORS replenishing (3:1 mix)

Continued hits:

-Ceramide oils, esp rice bran oil for pre-poos and sealing
-ORS replenishing. After 2 years of use, this is my ultimate DC. Love love love it!

Scunci Ouchless Headband. I'm assuming that's the name. these things. I really like the thickness and they don't move. Also it seems as if they will not be stretched out easily. I will be stocking up.

MISS
Natural Jenesis Cuckoo for Curls DC. This looked nothing like I expected it to based on the site picture and a you tube video. It was not thick enough to steam with or even leave on your head too long with a plastic cap because it drips. It smells good though. I ended up using it as a cowasher and it was alright but I expected more moisture. For $17.95 for an 8oz I needed this to wow me and it didn't.

Hit- oil rinsing on 4b hair. Couldn't find my castor oil and used olive oil followed by co wash. Detangling was breeze with my tangle teezer

I actually found out the bolded is called Scunci No Slip Grip. them. I bought some more. I got two 4 packs for $4.99 each.

Joico Deep Penetrating Reconstructor. It's too strong for my hair. It was super dry despite numerous moisturing DC's. I'll stick to Aphoghee.


HIT:
Shea moisture raw butter deep treatment masque. My hair feels butter soft. It's a keeper!
