Style will be a braid out for the week

As for me today, I prepooed with Matrix Biolage Hydrasource with Aloeconitioning balm mixed with sunflower and palm oil and a dash of aloe jiuce.

It felt much better than it did last week. I suppose I can use it as a deep conditioner this way, but the prepoo is working swimmingly so why mess with a good thing?

I used Redken Time Reset shampoo (made my hair feel squeaky clean without feeling hard) and now I'm deep conditioning with Redken Time Reset Youth Revitalizer replenishing deep treatment for 20 minutes under hooded dryer.

This shampoo and treatment also have ceramides and camellia oil in them. I'm a little excited about that so we'll see how good it is for my hair once I'm done. I'm washing this out and finishing off with a palm oil rinse leaving some of it on my hair.

I'll be moisturizing with Redken Anti Snap leave in sealed with sunflower oil. That's me for my hair day.

I got my hair braided again today :happydance:. Last night I:

Scalp Rx: Neem oil then Silk Elements pre-cleanse scalp treatment
Clay: Bentonite, rhassoul, acv and water
Shampoo: SM curl and shine shampoo
Protein/DC: Yogurt layered under my aphogee curlific texture treatment (in the shower)
Leave-Ins: CON argan leave in, olive oil, Giovanni direct, lottabody milk

Then I blow-dried my hair in sections (need to up my rollerset game to skip this step). Used the Tresemme keratin heat protectant. Plaited my hair in four jumbo braids, reapplied some milk to the ends and vatika coconut oil all over and went to bed.

Today I prepooed with Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle and sectioned my hair. Cleansed with Cush Cosmetics poo bar which I use only once in a while because it can be stripping, but my hair feels so incredibly clean afterwards. I followed up with Tresemme Naturals Radiant Volume conditioner which softened my hair right up. Single twists til Sunday.

Clarify: Keracare 1st Lather
Poo: SD Go Moist
Treatment: SD Mocha Silk
DC: APB Blueberry Cheesecake with SAA and Rice Bran Oil under hooded dryer for 30 minutes
Leave-Ins: APB Leave-In Conditioner, APB Hair Cream with Sweet Almond Oil
Air Dry while out shopping. My hair was very soft and moisturized.

I have been avoiding doing a major protein treatment (for what reason?...no clue) so yesterday,
I shampooed my hair twice in 5 sections with the matrix bioloage ultra nourishing shampoo.

Airdried mostly then used joico intensive reconstructor underneath my heating cap for 40 mins. I really felt the protein in my hair after rinsing.

Airdried mostly again to apply my moisturizing deep conditioner mix (just a bunch of moisturizing dc's and a little sesame oil added) and let that sit with heat for about 1.5 hrs then without heat for about 2 hrs (too lazy to rinse out)

Rinse out and while still in 5 sections, moisturized with hairveda satin red tea moisturizer and kiehl's silk straightening cream, twists and airdried for about 2 hrs then blowdried on medium heat high speed. The blowdryer glide through my hair so easily which is an indication that my hair did need that protein treatment. Applied AOHC and an oil mix to each section, then twisted and pinned up. I will cornrow my hair later on today.
