I think she needs to do something about her shipment confirmations b/c she stated in her mass email that when we get our Delivery Confirmation Emails they are not for tracking packages so we should not expect to be able to track where our packages are each day on their way to our homes....this is not good b/c other companies manage to send us our tracking # without a problem

She might not know how to do this so it causes frustration on her customer's behalf & defensiveness on hers ....

Honestly, I was a bit thrown off by that part. Delivery Confirmation in my experience functions exactly like tracking. I get delivery confirmations all the time via other vendors and they update me the entire way. From the time the info is recieved to the time the package is hitting my doorstep. So as you can imagine that statement threw me off a bit :perplexed.

I like the Root Food,Tea Shine,Tea spritz..I have the mango,it works best as a pre or underneath a con...

Happy Hair Growing!

Well that email was truly a mass email, because I also got it even though I've never ordered from her lol

must have just sent it out to all the emails associated with the site ... ummkaaay

*cough* I got it and immediately reported it to SPAM, because I had Unsubscribed from her after I was Banned from ordering from her.:look:

So unsure why I got it.:perplexed

Hopefully, everyone gets their orders soon and that you like whatever you've ordered.

I sell stuff alot on the Exchange Forum and getting Delivery Confirmation allows both me & the buyer to monitor where the package is as it travels from State to State until it reaches it's destination and finally marked as: "DELIVERED"

I also follow those Delivery Confirmation #'s issued by USPS when I shop to determine where my Stuff is.

So, Um...Yeah.

@NappyRina

Yes, she normally send out Shipping Notices.

However, after the November 30th Sale (or whenever that 1st 50% Sale was), I have been officially 'Banned' by her from ever being able to place another order with her.:look:

I questioned why you would be having another Sale, when you haven't fulfilled the orders from the BF Sale.:perplexed

After some random argumentative response, she Refunded my Money and told me not to ever attempt to order from her EVER Again.

I don't know whether to laugh or shake my head:lol:....:nono:

Say WHAT?!!! She must not know who you are. The day I open my business ill be treating you like Kate Middleton LMAO bowing down I'm not worthy I'm not worthy

Delivery Confirmation (for Denise!) means she's printed out her shipping labels but the packages are still sitting around waiting to go to the post office. She pulled this trick on me the last time I ordered, talking about "didn't you check your paypal account? You'll see I sent out a delivery confirmation on such and such date." Yet the package didn't actually SHIP and start TRACKING until a week later and AFTER I opened up a dispute with paypal.

Ladies, when you order from IPN, especially during big sales, expect to wake a month or so for your product. Expect if you complain to her, she will surely let you know that the circumstances are beyond her control (because NOTHING is ever her fault). She might even go on to tell you she is a not for profit business, but creates products because she really wants to "help" others with hair problems like herself.

I must commend her for at least sending out this mass email in a timely manner (for a change!).

But you are correct, for MOST other companies, a D.C. usually means once they printed the shipping label, those companies deliver the packages to the post office within 24-48 hrs. This is not the case with IPN.

Good luck to you all and may you receive your products intact!

.................. You a mess.

The funny thing is: She must not realize how many other places there are out there to buy stuff.

New Lines with Nice Vendors and Great Customer Service are popping up every day.

Just extremely rude and unprofessional in her treatment towards me and a few others. Ltown was also banned a while back, because she had questions about her order:rolleyes:

I agree with IronButterfly. She'll give you a dissertation about being a single mom, she's not in it for the money yada, yada, yada.

Although I have not found a replacement (yet) for that Root Food, it became a chore ordering from her for me.

I got the same email today,twice..I didn't order anything this time..

Happy Hair Growing!

@Kurlee

Yeah you can check if you created an account...you sign in...go to "Your Account"...click on "Orders"...there you will see your order & the "Payment Status" as well as the "Fulfillment Status" ...

If you ordered in November & still didn't get your package then I know I won't see mine for a loooong while :nono:

hmmm I order Nov 30th (dec 18th no package yet) and when I went to check my order on the site it says NO order found... hmmm I do have my paypal and bank account to show IPN did get my money...

also what I read about the processing time was this: Because all products are hand-made and made to order it takes approximately 5-7 business days to process and complete your order before it is shipped; this does not include carrier transit time. Weekends and holidays are excluded. Your patience is appreciated.

@Idare, so what is she going to do BANNED everyone who questions about their order??? How do you banned someone from spending their hard earned money on your products? What does that say as a Vendor, with that kinda attitude and if others read about this can you imagine how many customers will BAN from ordering from her...:nono::nono::nono:

Exactly! Wow how rude! It wasn't like you weren't speaking the truth. She need to be fixing those typos on her website while she banning folks

I said: "What the Heck?" "Where is OUR Stuff?"

And she asked me: "Are you intoxicated?" Sending me some mess like that. Hey: I tell you what, I'm going to refund you your money and don't you ever order from me AGAIN!" :look:....:nono:

(Paraphrase)

And she went on to bascially telling me she has a large Clientele and doesn't need my business.

I said: "I was just simply wondering why you would have another Sale when you haven't fulfilled the orders from the 1st Sale?" But thanks for the Refund.

I then went & promptly Unsubscribed from her mailing list etc.......and quickly dropped the money someplace else.

Because last time she issued me a Refund she had ISF and PayPal contacted me that the Refund had ISF.

So, I had to contact her and she re-issued it like a day or so later.

oh rly???

guess who wont ever purchase anything from her.

It's too many new vendors with great quaility products & one doesnt have to deal with DRAMA!

I take it you ladies got a D.C. notice ... well hopefully I will get a notice soon geez....

Still no shipping notice for me .... but I ordered on 12/11 so I don't expect mine until 2013 given the track record with this company :look:

These "sales" usually mean you have to wait a long time for your purchases. I used to order on black Friday and receive my packages at the end of December/beginning of January.

Please let us know how you like the products once you receive them

BostonMaria

You make a great point! I expect to wait a long time after a big sale especially when it's a small company :yep:

I just hope to get a shipping notice b/c I like to know when & how my package is coming

And you definitely should!!! I think that these companies should be upfront on how it REALLY takes to receive a package once you order.

Ok Ladies! Here's what she posted on Facebook a few minutes ago....

*****************************

"Understanding The Process"

I thought I would give a lil' break down on how your products are created.I was talking to a customer and it dawned on me that most people may be unclear of how IPN really works.

Ex. 5 product order ( 8 oz. each)
...
Each order of this size takes about 3-4 hours to make
30 min- 1 hour to jar and label
30 min to recheck order and package
30 min -1 hour to ship

Now multiple this process times 20 ( also have a family) and now try and imagine how complicated things can become. Why do I do what do some may ask? I want to provide the most "freshest" natural product that I can, so I don't make products and shelve them ahead of time. I feel as though too many products are already done that way. So when you receive your order, your products have literally just been made.

At any rate Happy Holidays! :)

*I won't be answering emails again until Monday. Will be working on orders, receiving family, and doing some last minute shopping. You all have a very safe and blessed holiday weekend!

Merry Christmas

ETA... I understand but she sounds irritated to me :look:

NappyRina she always sounds irritated :lachen:

Really now though, you know you are gonna have a big sale, you can bottle up a couple batches ahead of time, a couple days ain't gonna make that much of a difference.
And taking 30 mins to an hour to bottle up 5 products is not realistic . My 8 and 5 year old nieces could do it in less time I'm sure.

Anyhoo, good for her and her special clientel, I know for sure I won't be joining that club !!!!!

The problem with IPN hasn't been her turnaround time. The problem with IPN has been her stank attitude. I'm sure most ppl who are used to ordering from these online vendors have some reasonable expectation of a wait time. BUT when your customer service skills are ghetto at best when said customers inquire about their paid for packages for which the wait time has exceeded reasonable expectations by a wide margin, then your problems are deeper than spending an hour labeling a jar.

IPN promised those of us who had to wait a month for our Memorial Day sale items a free item. You think I've seen any such item? And then to be told NOT to ask about said free item, because it's free and you don't really have to offer it...well, that kind of caustic nerve leaves a bad taste in the mouth of my wallet...

^^^^^^^^WOW JUST ...... WOW ^^^^^^^

No one deserves to be treated like that !!!!!
I think she probably needs to hire a frontline agent who deals with customers, she obviously does not possess that skill.
