I love Sally's too - it sucks that there's one in walking distance of work. I just want to watch and read all of the products but the salesladies are always bugging me!
I'm already off the wagon for August. I bought V05 Strawberries and Cream after Allandra wrote about it. It smells lovely! Can't wait to try it as a rinse.
Maybe I will try a challenge in September...

Funny. I thought about those rods yesterday wondering what they'd do for my hair. Please let me know the outcome.
Thanks

I haven't airdried my hair with the flexirods yet but last night I rolled up my hair dry with them, without any kind of setting lotion. I used very few, 4 purple rods (which is the largest size in diameter I saw) and this morning, my hair seemed smoother, shiny and very bouncy. The curls were very loose. I didn't do the spirals with them yet, just rolled them up and went to bed.

I went to Claire's Boutique today and bought beautiful sticks for my bun and a black bun holder (or bun cover?). I noticed Claire's sold flexirods (has another name) in a smaller diameter than Sally's smallest size.

I think I'm going to buy a soft bonnet dryer today. I love the hard dryer but the soft one jsut seems so convenient. Does anyone have one? If you do, does it work?

Nexxus line...
humectress
leave in conditioner
therapee moisturizing shampoo

Paul Mitchell
awalapi shampoo
detangling conditioner
foaming pomade

@ISIS--i luv flexi-rods...they are the best..i dont know what it is but your hair is shiny wihtout even anything in it...i am like whoa..and they r very easy to sleep in..i use to have problems sleeping in rollers but the rods are easy to manage..i luv them...and ur curls are bouncy and just right..plus i put them in in like 10 minutes and even if i keep them in for 3 hours i still get decent curls...

I bought 4 kits of Gillette's Curl Free online.

Self-relaxing at home, here I come (provided the strand test is OK). Affirm mild lye touchups are just too damaging, and I never wear my hair in straight styles.

I must replen B5 and my hair multivitamin, as they ran out today.

My LUST and BreakFree will last through mid September, so I'm all set.

What are flexi rods? Please describe them to me. Thanks

How much do you all pay for a package of those curlers?? I saw them in Sally's for about $8 or $9 and I thought that was too much. Then someone else here said they should cost about $4...

Couldn't resist. I brought the Kemi Oyl line. Just wanted to see if it worked as good as Aubrey's. So far I like it and the smell is nice.

Mine was $7.99 at Sally's (same price for all sizes)for 10 to a package. At Claire's Boutique they sell the smaller diameters for $8.00 (I think 10 rods also)

I got the Nexxus Moisture Program from JCPenney. It is the back to school set - 2 for $22. I don't know how much it usually costs so I hope that is good. They are 1L/33.8 Fl.Oz bottles. One of Humectress and one of Therappe.

I don't mean to sound cheap but even for $22 dollars I would think that the bottles would be filled to the brim and they are not. I hate that.
