Its a Spring Thing!!

Okay, so I wanted to start a light, fun thread for our spring hair!

(I looked, but didn't see one for 2010)

So ladies, what are your hairstyles going to be for the spring? Use this thread to share some new hairstyling ideas, post pics of some tried-but-true, or even some creatively new styles, and even share any new hair regimens you may be adopting or have already adopted for Spring.

This thread will hopefully become a great reference for those of us who may have a hairstyle block one day and need ideas, or help for those looking for a lighter regimen.

Have fun with it, and post pics if you can!!! :drunk:

ATM I have a sew-in....I dont too much care for it so Ill keep it styled( its in a braid-out right now) then go to braids a few days before my birthday in June and maybe for the rest of the summer till I invest in some great hair like halleys and a great weaveologist!! BC I dont have the skill to do it myself

braid outs on my TWA and real braids ever so often. Till my hair gets long enough for me to try something new/different.

Nothing spectacular mostly just keeping my hair moisturized and hidden underneath a crochet cap. I hate dealing with my hair when its hot.

Every now and then maybe roller-saran wrap, and wash n go's

but I am very style challenged

oooh! I forgot myself!

I get a little more creative in the spring and summer with bantu knot-outs, braid-outs, twist-outs, and crazy updos. I think it happens as a result of my fall and winter buns, wigs, and protective styling.

Last weekend I crimped my hair (below)... (P.S.: the purple that you see is just an add-on piece that I put in for church that day! yes, I said church! ROFL!!! My mom was like, what is going on??)

I only do heat once every two weeks or so, so as the crimping started looking like Simba from the Lion King, I put in a drop or two of coconut oil in eac section before I rolled it up into a bantu knot and slept. Today it looks like a curly crimped lion's mane, but I'm wearing it proudly! I'm trying to get two more days out of this before my wash day on Sunday! :lachen:

Looking good, ladies, any more?

I have lots of new growth so I'll probably be using my curlformers a lot this spring and doing some braid outs too.
